A long-lost medieval cookbook, containing recipes for hedgehogs, blackbirds and even unicorns, has been discovered at the British Library. Professor Brian Trump of the British Medieval Cookbook Project described the find as near-miraculous. "We've been hunting for this book for years. The moment I first set my eyes on it was spine-tingling."

You’re probably the guy who invited Uncle Carl over for a BBQ and we never saw him again.

No offense. Just don’t make yourself too noticeable around hunting season, which starts February 30.

Unicorns are naturally magical. It’s those stinkin’ Democrat donkeys that sell pot. If you can make a pie out of weed, you’ll have all the Ron Paul supporters coming to your house for dessert.

I talked to a bigfoot about you. Don’t be surprised if a 10 foot tall hairy guy comes to your door to sell you a vacuum cleaner. Don’t go snipe hunting with him.

Many references to unicorns in the Bible, and one was born in the DC zoo in 1996:

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Curious visitors were expected to flock to the National Zoo this weekend to see the newest inhabitant — a rare single-horn Asian rhinoceros named Chitwan who was born Wednesday.

The mother, Mechi, was pregnant for 16 months before giving birth to the female calf. Chitwan weighed 138 pounds (69 kilograms).

The baby rhino, a member of the endangered Rhinoceros Unicornis species, was reported in good health and was already “very active,” a zoo official said Thursday. Mother and child were getting to know each other, he added.

The rare breed, also known as the “greater one-horned Asian rhino,” has thick, armor-like skin, three toes on each foot and a horn that can reach 25 inches (62 centimeters) in length. Adults can reach 14 feet (4.2 meters), weighing up to 6,000 pounds.

This is why we still have Green alligators and long-necked geese Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
and cats and rats and elephants. Because nobody thought of making a recipe book for those.

The unicorn is not nearly as interesting as that medieval Ferengi woman barbecuing it.

Pink’s just not her color, lol.
