Foster Gamble on 'Thrive' the Movie, Its Critics and What Can Be Done to Stop the Conspiracy
The Daily Bell ^ | Sunday, March 04, 2012 | Anthony Wile

Daily Bell: We were surprised by how good Thrive was, especially since we'd been critical of it previously. Why did you make such a high-budget production as opposed to, say, writing a book or article?

Foster Gamble: First of all, I want to comment on your being surprised. Frankly, I was shocked and really disappointed that The Daily Bell was doing an in-depth review of the film, really twice, without having seen it. It was not the kind of critical thinking I usually associate with the Daily Bell, so I am glad that some of your people, including yourself, have actually seen the movie and appreciate it. So now we can have much more meaningful conversation about what we have done and who we are.

The message of this movie is really the result of literally my entire life's research. I put most of my life savings into making it because the goal was to actually alter the global conversation in a way that could really make a difference in the way that everyone on the planet could have the opportunity to thrive. So, I knew that to do that, a book wouldn't reach that many people, an article wouldn't reach that many people, but if a film were really coherent and powerful and done in a quality way so it carried as much beauty and credibility as possible, that had the best shot of going all over the world and changing the conversation. I am happy to say that seems to be what is happening.

Daily Bell: Give us some background on yourself for those who haven't seen the movie.

I don't follow the Daily Bell closely, not being (ron)paulian, but I was intrigued by this inteview and found myself not being able to stop reading it. I'm a Christian that holds out (a dwindling) hope for the U.S.A. and I feel like there's not longer a 'side' I can honestly feel a part (Tea Party/Palin/Gingrich). That's the background against which I read -

Have any FRiends seen the movie? If so what's your take?

What’s this movie about? (I’m having trouble reading the article at the link.)

The Saturday host on Coast to Coast had Bell and his wife on most of the night. He pretty much filibustered the whole show. Sounds like a Paulinista with a big dose of Prison Planet thrown in. One Whirled Gov’t, Builderbergers, etc. The system is going down..... The usual nonsense.

That’s a sharp contrast to my opinion of the tone of the written interview in the Daily Bell.

Assuming you’re mistaking the Gambles for the (Art?) Bells, I surmise you dismiss and haven’t seen the movie due to your poor view of their appearance on “Saturday host on Coast to Coast”.

Interesting, from interview

...first order of business seems to be the collapse of the global economy and the US economy, especially because I think the Federal Reserve Charter, which was a 100-year charter, comes up for renewal in August of 2013. I don't think there's a chance that that would pass any legal or true vote so I think that has partly accelerated their desire for total control. I think they are trying to complete their agenda for total control this year, in 2012...

I heard him interviewed on Coast to Coast last night or the night before, he and his wife, and at that time, I’m usually half asleep, but if I recall, the beginning of the interview was the typical conservative-bashing, but after that, he began to get into what the movie was about. The only thing I’m left with is an impression, and that is that I remember being somewhat po’ed at the beginning (his basic personal philosophy) and then starting to find it interesting as it progressed. I’ll be glad to read what you’ve posted on it.

Sometimes indolence can achieve bad things that conspiracy can’t.

I found it fascinating that the Daily Bell had at one point reviewed the movie without seeing it. I bet Muleskinner hasn’t read “The Creature from Jeckyl Island” about the founding of the Federal Reserve, or “Tragedy and Hope”, a history of the financial oligarchy by a professor at Georgetown U. You really need to read history in order to understand it.

The Thrive movie has a lot going for it in its second half where they show how the Federal Reserve system is not a Federal agency yet prints our money and dictates money supply by setting prime interest rates.

I bet Muleskinner understands the Comintern’s conspiracy to undermine the values of our democracy via the 60’s counterculture. So don’t tell me that conspiracy theories have no place in rational discourse about history, politics and economics.

To whom are you referring regarding indolence?
