I just installed the "Collusion" add-on to Firefox. Anybody else tried this one?
It shows a graphic of websites that are supposedly tracking you when you open a page.
So far, FR is clean. Rense IS NOT! Neither is Drudge!
Not sure exactly what it means by "websites that are tracking me". Cookies? One of those weird pixel thingamajigs?
I may leave it installed, I might trash it, not sure yet...
I switched to them and "startpage".
You should try a Tracking Software Blocker by Abine.I’m using it and it says I had One Company,Google Analytics tracking Me.The Software Blocked it though so its not a problem.
Wow. I got Collusion, and the thing looked like a star chart from Star Trek. Then I d/l’ed DNT+ and Collusion is dead space. Nice thread....
Yep...Ghostery is good.
It says to close IE to continue setup. So I ‘x’ out of IE and click ‘continue’ but I keep getting a popup that says IE is still running. I thought when I ‘x’ed out and was lookng at my monitor and the icon, IE was closed?
One of these days, stupid folk will realise that the United States Postal Service doesn’t track anyones contacts.
Try to form a militia via internet...Sheesh!
Also try PROXPN, it’s free.
Yeah amazing what hypocrites they continue to be day in and day out.
LOL! I have to ask... Did you just Rick Roll me?
That “Albine” thing keeps looping back to the “Internet Explorer is not closed” popup and like an idiot I keep clicking ‘retry’.
Heh.. Ya got me!
lol!
Apps will inform on each other!
KGB app!!
I visited sites for my sister and niece and my brother-in-laws dad and I see ads all over the blogs and stuff for those things I searched for!
I just added it to my browser, DNT... and I have no idea how to view these reports... I left and right clicked but nothing happens
Later

My AVG just said it was a virus or something
I saw no reports so I assume it doesn’t work for me. So how do I remove it?
Thanks!
Hey, bud. So, I installed Collusion last night and played with it for a while. Pretty cool how it shows the tracking relationships in graphic form.
One little problem, though. The icon for it was residing in a little tool bar that it installed at the bottom of my screen. I hate extra tool bars, so I hit the little x on the left hand side to close it. Now I can’t find the Collusion thingy to save my life. I’ve looked everywhere, but no luck.
Did I delete it, or something?
The development of this program is sponsored by the Ford Foundation. These folks are not know for their love of Americans, liberty or human life in any way, shape or form.
They are probably using it for their own radical political and social tracking. Don’t want google to get one up on them.
