Thanks to all of you for your sweet and lovely graphics today. I took it easy today for my back’s sake and it does help. I was supposed to get the Cat-scan today and was rushing around trying to get my chores done. The girl from Radiology called and said that the insurance hadn’t approved my Cat-scan yet and asked me if I wanted to come anyway and I told her “indeed not.” Told her I wasn’t going to get stuck paying a large bill. She said they usually approve within 24- 48 hours.
I then asked her when did they put in the request and she sorta um’d and aw’d and said “I’m not sure, someone else did this.” I went back to the sink and was continuing and I got it on my mind so heavy that I called the insurance company to do some detective work. LOL! She looked up my recent records and said she had no requests there for a Cat-scan. I told her I felt someone had forgotten to call to get it approved. Anyway, the insurance lady said they would take care of it as soon as they heard from Radiology.
I told the Radiology dept. that I needed to get it done before I went back to the surgeon. That appt. is on the 11th of April so I still have plenty of time.

I have a nephew and he spells his name the same way but of course, we call him Steve. Also, my doctor's name is Steven, spelled differently. Of course, I call him Dr.!

I Remember back in the Early 1990's my Doctor Put me in the Hospital for a Day and Ran a Bunch of Tests,
But had Failed to Call and Get the Tests or the Hospital Stay Approved, and it Ended Up being a Mess. :(

Off for another ear balance test....probably just another waste of my time, and gas, along with medicare/tricare $$..then on to the Uro for my bladder this afternoon, and the skin fold infection that is setting in...one the GYN made when he took out the plumbing in 98....wonder if since the back surgeon ruled out the back as the cause, they will ever find the cause of the bladder pain looks like that is my lot in life...I feel like Job must have felt.
Back to square one the back doc sent me to the Torture PIT, I CANCELLED the appointment after I got the paper work and found out all they do is what has failed, only they can write Rx’s for all kinds of nasty side effect riddled drugs and do nerve blocks and send you to shrinks asked all kinds of social related question...privacy invasion deluxe...and it would take nearly all day to repeat tests already done. H. NO, I can barely walk now. I told him first visit NO PT, NO PILLS, NO NERVE BLOCKS...they don’t listen...even with my reduced hearing I heard him tell his trainee ‘I was a Complicated, DIFFICULT case to treat’. What is so hard about REPAIRING A BAD BACK and NOT writing RX’s for side effect riddled drugs I can’t take.
I heard on the news last night some guy got a new face, tongue and teeth...then why can’t they put some simple silicone into the non existing fat pads of my foot?
Done a lot of talking to my shrink...the Great I AM

Done a lot of bio feed back, played gospel music on my ancient Ipod over the past few days as I lay on the heating pad sleepless.
Come to a big conclusion, I may not have a medical education, but I google research, and they don’t like that one bit, as I go in armed with knowledge. With the exception of the Thyroid and Fibromyalgia everything else is REPAIRABLE surgically. Thyroid and Fibro are med managed. Welcome to 0’care early.
Hubby is afraid I am going to get us blackballed and then we will have no doctors and we both have health issues....he didn’t listen to me about 0’care..there will be no doctors for seniors unless it is imported non English speaking ones, not with a $8 TRILLION gut to Medicare, much less what they did to Tricare Life for the retired over 65 Military. As it is now all we get to see is the PC’s NPA on a Tuesday. Specialist are another critter, some will take some won’t for now.
