LOL!!! Jaycee, you are so funny! I had just taken a big sip of my diet coke when I read this post and NEARLY CHOKED ON IT! If it's a fairy tale you want, look elsewhere. LOL! ;-)
Oh, yorkie!!! You are the *other* person that I pop in here to check on. It’s always a treat to see your posts! Are you still at your son’s? I pray each day brings you closer to complete recovery. Prayers are answered where love resides, and prayers are answered at Amy’s Place! Love you, sistah!
I just hate when coke or milk comes out of my nose, don’t you??? LOL~~~~
LOL!! Yes, but better milk than coke. The carbonation hurts!
Thank you for being in my corner. Still experiencing a lot off pain. Pathology came back today... no cancer on the outside of bladder and prostate tissue. WooHoo!!!

Wonderful news!!! That there is a prayer answered, actually many prayers answered. Yes, indeed. Well, I am all teared up. You are a special part of our FRamily, Dave. I am just so happy and relieved for you and Linda and your family! So, now I will say a prayer of gratitude while I do a little cyber happy dance in your honor! :-)
Aww...(((HUGS)))
Love That.

Sorry, I was so excited about your good news that I forgot to say I hope your pain eases up soon. Take you pain meds. :-)
....or, YOUR pain meds, whichever. ;-)
Aw! What a sweet picture.
: )
Thank you so much! I am blessed....with lots o’ cake! :)
.....and good FRiends!
Wow, you had all kinds of weather! It finally did rain later today around 3. Was a relief to work with no sun and heat for the rest of the day.
My cousin in Prescott says she recently got over 20 inches of snow.
Go figure!
Speaking of strange natural stuff,,,we had a minor earthquake a few hundred miles north of here in Clintonville,WI on Tuesday. The residents had been experiencing odd noises and rumblings and no one knew what was up, but today the US Geo. Service or some such group said it was indeed an earthquake followed by aftershocks.
Strange indeed ... we got your funnel clouds and you got our earthquakes. LOL

It was just a routine baggage inspection, but there was nothing ordinary about the contents of the suitcase. The Swiss customs agent who examined it discovered 14 original drawings by Pablo Picasso. The artwork, which was contained in a sketchbook, was estimated to be worth as much as $1.5 million, yet the passenger indicated nothing to declare to customs authorities.
Its hard to imagine anyone packing Picassos sketchbook between sweaters, trotting off to the airport, and hoping it would remain a secret. The man was obviously smuggling it.
We as Christians have something far more valuable than a Picasso to declare! Yet we sometimes keep the treasure of our faith in Christ locked in our hearts instead of sharing it with those around us. Jesus reminded us, You are the light of the world (Matt. 5:14). Part of our purpose is to reflect Gods glory so that others will understand their need for Him. He also calls us to let our light shine, so that they see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven (v.16).
We risk becoming spiritual smugglers when we hide our faith in Christ. Instead, lets open the suitcase, share the treasure, and give glory to the Master.

Hi, Lori! Yes, I’m still at my son’s in CA. I hope to be going home within two or three weeks (depending on what the doctors want me to do.)
I am finally able to brush my own hair but still am having a little trouble in other areas, so we’ll see.
I got a pedicure and manicure last week, got my hair cut and colored yesterday, along with a little shopping at KOHL’S. So I’m about ready for my daughter and SIL to arrive tomorrow. (They think this up-coming Bday is ‘speshul’ for some reason!) ROTF!!!
My DIL made my Mexican chicken yesterday in the crockpot - and after simmering all day, we had a feast last night, with guacomole, salsa, my homemade pico de gallo, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion, black olives, sour cream and hot tortillas and crispy taco shells!
Here is the recipe if anyone is interested:
Mexican Chicken
3 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
1 packet of taco seasoning (mild)
3 small cans Rotel tomatos with green chili
Put in crockpot in the morning, let it cook all day on low, and shred the chicken an hour before serving, letting it soak up the flavorful juice. Serves at least ten if they don’t keep going back for seconds and thirds. LOL!

You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED. |
