For overnight talk radio fans. Red Eye Radio lost its host Doug McIntyre when Doug went to do morning drive at KABC Los Angeles and two guys replaced him; kind of a merger between The Midnight Trucking Show and Red Eye. Red Eye is syndicated by Cumulus while Clear Channel's Premiere division syndicates Coast to Coast.

Many Clear Channel talk stations (like WXKS 1200 Boston) carry the Premiere stable of hosts including Beck, Rush, Hannity, Bill Cunningham, and Coast to Coast. In Prov. RI Coast to Coast has moved from WPRO 630 to WHJJ 920, as WPRO now picks up Red Eye.

Is Coast to Coast losing audience or what?

I still remember the chills I got listening to that one show about Skin Walker Ranch. Coasttocoast is a great show for some mindless listening in the dead of night. I haven’t listened to Coast for awhile though, since some of the episodes had been dang boring. Is it possible that Coast2coast isn’t performing well?

When I hear the words 'George Noory' I reach for my off button.

I want Art Bell back!

Lets see Coast to Coast has a ghost show, a UFO/Mars show. a yeti/Chupacharba show, a global warming show, a remote viewing show and that's about it, just repeat ad nauseaum.

I’ve always wondered why Rush doesn’t do midnight to 3am rebroadcasts. It’s not like he’d lose noon audience with something on the opposite end of the clock.

This move may lower the ‘energy level’ of Coast to Coast.

Cumulus Media is apparently controlled by the alien invaders, trying to silence the only outlet for the truth.

I listen to WMAL - used to love CTC on it, but WMAL cut it down to 3 hours [1-3 am], with the balance of the show repeated the next night between 11 pm-1 am. However, I could not listen between 11 pm-1 am.

At 3 am, Midnight Trucking [now Red Eye] came on and I like it too. But, it was only 2 hours long - also being cut off [but the balance was not repeated the next night].

So, something had to give. On the whole, if I had to choose one show for the full time - it would be Red Eye [which is what WMAL is now doing 1 am-5 am].

I sometimes listen to Kook to Kook during my daytime here.
On occasion they have something of interest, but when they are into the paranormal/UFO junk, I tune out.

If I had to stay up past midnight to hear it, I never would.
I can see why long haul truckers listen...It is all they have past midnight.
I understand that Noorey is an Obot, so he is obviously a simpleton.

I rarely listen to Noorey anymore. I personally believe UFO’s are BS and that topic seems to be the “anchor” subject for that radio program. Honestly, how many times can you dig up new material on something someone saw outside Las Vegas or in the New Mexico desert in 1947?

My personal opinion is that folks like Noorey, Bell, and others who continually dig at this topic, actually play right into the hands of the government. The more they rant about how all the stuff seen at Area 51 was extraterrestrial, the more they provide a diversion from what was really happening there.......just highly top secret terrestrial experiments in developing military technology against the Soviets. Nothing more...nothing less.

I really enjoyed listening to Art Bell. He was simply one of the most gifted broadcasters ever to talk into a microphone. And it wasn’t the subject matter— he could have read the dictionary and made it fascinating.

C2C used to interview smart, thoughtful people with something interesting to say, at least from time to time. Now they showcase total nutcases making up elaborate but boring fantasies who push their books full of such nonsense.

George Noory doesn't help.

Coast To Coast has been filled with fascinating stuff for decades now: UFOs; alien abductions and invasions; Age of Aquarius predictions; alternative cures for everything under the sky; ghosts; ESP; Remote Viewing; End of World predictions; Atlantis discoveries; Martian civilization discoveries; Past Life memories; Future Life predictions; Time Travel speculations; Apocalyptic and Rhapsodic warnings; Epiphanies; High Colonics; High Priests of the Druid Rites; and, occasionally, something really weird.

Not one such postulation has been proven or predictive.

At least Art Bell had a great voice for radio, asked searching questions of the callers and guests, and connected with the tuned-in insomniacs inhabiting the profound silences between the words of his slow cadences. He was entertaining. He stirred the imagination. He understood the power of radio. His wonderful voice and mind, caught fleetingly on an AM car radio along an empty stretch of Arizona highway in the vast desert night, was capable of indelible memories. The show - as anything other than a clearinghouse for all-too-predictable craziness - died when he left.

I agree with the critical remarks about C2C and I can add many more -- in fact if one were to Internet search for williamofcarmichael and coasttocoastAM there are dozens over the years.

Examples,
- Noory got furious (literally) at Professor John Lott for not addressing Obama as PRESIDENT! Obama.
- During the Bush years Alex Jones was virtually a co-host with his reports on Bush evil doings.. now that he's reporting on Obama he is virtually unknown.
- Once Noory demanded (literally) that Jones appear the next night to explain why his website was "mean" to PRESIDENT Obama.
- During election 2004 (maybe 2006) Noory dedicated a telephone line for listeners to report Republican voter fraud -- Noory had featured an expert on election fraud where it was "revealed" that the CEO of a company that made voting machines was a Republican
- Noory would not permit regular guest Dr. Jerome Corsi to talk about his books on Obama saying that there had to be someone there to refute what Corsi would say.
- Never once did Noory even mention such consideration for Bush -- in fact just a couple of weeks ago C2C continued its going on 12 years of Bush bashing.
- through it all Noory routinely says that C2C is nonpartisan.
- FINALLY! about a month ago C2C actually dedicated a show to criticizing Obama for his part in NDAA.

There are more.

Through it all, though, I have never doubted Noory's patriotism -- in my day he'd be a FDR Democrat, hates Republican "Daddy Warbucks." He hates Halliburton and Dick Cheney.

I've listened to C2C since before it was C2C when Bell was doing his mostly political show from KDWN hotel studios.

I lost respect for Bell when he went nuts over the global warming crap -- when every show it seemed was space aliens and loved ones from the "other side" telling us to stop destroying the earth -- turns out he had invested tons of his money in "alternate energy."
