Do you know how you can tell when Mitt Romney is lying?

The evidence of Mitt’s life is that he was raised liberal, by liberal parents (who were battered and mocked by the right), and is naturally inclined to liberalism by his own personal nature.

If anything stirs him politically, Mitt seems to be driven by an anti-conservatism, a hostility to American conservatives.

Should we have trusted Ronald Reagan when he changed from many years as a democrat and a union official to conservative sounding republican? Should we believe in a war hawk Robert McNamara during Viet-Nam war conversion into a profound pacifist in later years?

My answer is some transformations are genuine and some are suspect. Flip flop once and you are still in the game. Flip flop twice on the same issue and you are out for good.

Who needs to judge Romney’s past? For me you simply cannot be conservative and be for a minimum wage, let alone indexing it.

Also, if your tax policy draws a line at $200,000, you have thrown tax REFORM out the window.

I am not going for Romney because #1 he is Not a conservative; #2 IF he is a man of convictions -his convictions seem at odds with his professed Mormon faith. # 3 he has a record of making bad mistakes for political gain. i.e. Romney Care; same sex marriage; abortion; 2nd Amendment rights; liberal judges—etc.
If I wanted to vote for Obama in Nov. I would vote for Obama And not just change the name of the mere politician. If I wanted the Democratic Party— and the already captured Media elite to dictate who America can vote for I would go for Romney because they have already selected Romney -just like they did Obama.

I've asked one guy I know who came out in support for Mitt romney a simple question - please name the achievement you admire him for the most while he was governor of MA. This is the only true litmus test we have of him as a leader, so there must be something there that you find particularly good.

He vacillated briefly and then launched into what romney did for the olympics. I explained I discard that effort entirely as that was not my question - what did he do, when in power, that you found particularly effective that makes you believe he would be a worthy leader.

Would you believe he said "romneycare"?

Destroying his argument piece by piece from there was child's play. He is still very PO'd with me. I went into detail about how romney destroyed MA's economy, his liberal record and other disasters tied to romney forever.

He should be embarrassed...a grown man embracing such idiocy is disgusting. OTOH, he has not brought romney up again. I will jump on him the second he does, facts are difficult things to overcome.

Romney is one of those Liberals who honestly thinks they are a Conservative.

You know the type. Good Christians or Jews, with successful careers, nice families, & just generally nice, respectable people. Many are quite "conservative" in their daily lives.

But they also have a streak of Nanny running the length of their bodies. They are busy bodies, never content to mind their own business. Every problem is new, requiring new law. Individual problems are public problems. Gov't knows best. Gov’t is always the answer.

Dear Ann; got some good news for you and some bad news for you. The good news is that you’re going to be on Mitt’s planet when he becomes god. The bad news is that you’re going to be a roll of toilet paper.

It’s been said on FR before. I’ll say it here again.

There is a possibility that Ann Coulter is log cabin. It would certainly explain her infatuation with Chris Christie and Mitt Romney.

"portrayal of Bain Capital's Romney as "Chainsaw Mitt"

Excerpts from http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204331304577140850713493694.html

"The Wall Street Journal, aiming for a comprehensive assessment, examined 77 businesses Bain invested in while Mr. Romney led the firm from its 1984 start until early 1999, to see how they fared during Bain's involvement and shortly afterward.

Among the findings: 22% either filed for bankruptcy reorganization or closed their doors by the end of the eighth year after Bain first invested, sometimes with substantial job losses. An additional 8% ran into so much trouble that all of the money Bain invested was lost.

Another finding was that Bain produced stellar returns for its investors—yet the bulk of these came from just a small number of its investments. Ten deals produced more than 70% of the dollar gains.

Some of those companies, too, later ran into trouble. Of the 10 businesses on which Bain investors scored their biggest gains, four later landed in bankruptcy court."

In other words 40% of the companies bought and sold by Bain Capital were broken in in the process.

What I want to know is: WHERE are the 100,000 jobs Romney claimed to have "created"???
