Laws make it impossible for the law abiding.
Laws have no effect on those that are not law abiding.

who cares if a gun is designed by a certain military to hunt humans.
It can still be used to hunt, plink or target practice.
heck, it can even be used in shooting contests.
Romney, shooting blanks in support of the 2nd Amendment.

My question to you or anyone who knows is:
What's Mitt's "position" on the 2nd Amendment now, and when did he do his flip-flop?
This will provide even more fresh meat for Newt as the primaries move into the midwest. Heck, I even know leftists who are strongly pro-2nd Amendment.

“Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts, Romney said”
But, if the ATF wants to ship a bunch to Mexico, I’ll not stand in the way, or demand the Atty. General be indicted.

The new law ensures these deadly weapons, including AK-47s, UZIs and Mac-10 rifles, are permanently prohibited in Massachusetts no matter what happens on the federal level. Just like they do not abide by Federal Tax law in regards to "Death Tax".
I have family their, the lay of the land is pretty, but we might as well sell it to France, it is heartbreaking given it is one of our cradles of Liberty.

Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts, Romney said, at a bill signing ceremony on July 1 with legislators, sportsman's groups and gun safety advocates. These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people. If Newt can get video of Romney saying this, it will make a great campaign ad in "bitter clinger" sections of the country.

That’s one reason I can’t vote for Romney. The Criminal element will have assault weapons,as will rogue police agencies. But citizens who are law abiding are screwed.
