target shooting is one of my favorite hobbies but it has gotten so expensive, I hate to waste the ammo. It was a lot more fun when you could actually afford ammo. Expensive ammo will kill the sport as sure as any democrat.

Actually the Second Amendment was intended to permit people to own guns that are designed to hunt humans (in a run-away government).
...and our forefathers knew that if civilians had those guns, then there would never be a government that needed to be hunted down.
