Beer drinkers rejoice: Your favorite brew may be healthier than you think.
For years, wine drinkers have indulged without guilt, reveling in the news that red wine can help protect against heart disease. Recent research shows that beer can also be good for what ails you, from reducing risk for broken bones to helping warding off diabetes and mental decline. It can even increase longevity, a large study suggests.
However, the key to tapping into beers benefits is moderation, meaning just one 12-ounce beer per day for women and two for men. Heavy drinking ups the threat of liver damage, some cancers, and heart problems. Bingeing on brewskis can also make you fat, since a 12-ounce regular beer has about 150 calories, while light beer has about 100.

This is gonna tick off the staunch Baptists I think.
Oh well, I’m a “first miracle” Christian, and take Paul’s advice to Timothy to heart. (Literally to heart according to the research).
I thought Coors Lite was my breakfast, lunch, dinner and mid-night snack. Moderate, shmoderate for me. I was all the way in. Admire the normies.

Consume the golden liquid in sufficient quantities just prior to those long distance pissing marathon events. Makes for good long and strong effects. Not recommended for weak bladders on crowded, bumpy airplane flights.
And do NOT wear button fly jeans :)
In winter months (Chicago), I switch to New Belgium’s 2-Below. Filling and tastes great!

“Whiskeys too rough/champange costs too much and vodka puts my mouth in gear/this little refrain should help me explain/as a matter of fact I like beer’’.

LOL! Love that song! Anybody know whatever happened to ol’ Tom T?
Some years ago I had a conversation with someone who said he had had tickets for an event where Tom T. Hall was supposed to sing, but Hall didn't show up because he had gotten drunk. The guy that told me that is usually truthful...but is a Democrat.
Don’t know. Haven’t heard much from Tom T. Hall lately.

It's true. Civilization exists because of beer.
“didnt Rush recently talk about a report that the researcher who provided the data for the claim that red wine is healthy made it all up?”
You’re right, Rush did mention it (falsified studies about resveratrol) but didn’t make it clear there are hundreds of other studies from other researchers that also validate the health benefits of resveratrol (found in some red wines and also in other plants).
I thought that was pretty amazing when I saw it on cable. Especially the part about the Egyptians making a beer concoction that produced tetracycline.
