OK, I'll jump and let my dumbness show. Why all the interest in paper catalogs if a person has internet? What am I missing here?
But curling up in a comfy chair with coffee or tea and reading glasses perched on the end of my nose, I can see better, and am more comfortable. Plus I can finish the catalog faster and my brain has a cohesive idea of the entire catalog.

For me, it is easier and more pleasant to sit down with a few catalogs. For instance, I can turn to the cukes section of each one and look back and forth, comparing varieties and prices. I can lay several out on the coffee table at once.
I will admit that Windows 7 did make it easier online by allowing you to put two panes up side by side, but then you are limited to 2.
I am fond of going through my catalogs on the road while my husband is driving. The screen on my smartphone is not quite big enough to show a whole web page and I don't have a tablet or notebook.
Those are basically my reasons. I'm sure somebody else will chime in with other very good reasons.
I like both. The paper catalog can go with you and be read anywhere. Find something your interested in and go to the net. I find the Internet usually has more detailed info vs the paper catalog - much cheaper to publish more info over the net, also updates on stock availability and price is usually good.
Catalogs are easier to deal with when you're sitting on the can, or riding in a vehicle.
LOL.
Because you can’t put post it notes on the computer to comparison shop.
You also can’t read the internet adds while enjoying a bubble bath.
