Dolly’s little dog Lindy, died a little over a year ago. Pam’s dog is probably at the boarding place. It is 16 years old now and I’ve also thought about that little dog. So sad.
I had an Aunt who requested in her Will that her dog (who was old) be put down when she died. She did pass away and somehow, a member of the family kept the dog. Don’t know how that works if it was in her Will.
I’m a little unbalanced today, Dolly. I meant to start with (Dolly, Yorkie’s little dog) and you can notice what I typed. I tried to stop it but it was a little late!
Thank you, Lori. I will tell her those things...you can bet on it.
Thanks, jaycee. :-)
thanks for the update jaycee. Since my mom died a little over a year ago I have not kept up with a lot. Difficult year. Some travel has also limited my online time. Mostly at Facebook anymore
(((((God Bless you Sweet Amy and All FRiends)))))
Thanks. Me too. :-)
Sorry to read you are having troubles with your eye.
God Bless your daughter-in-law, she is a gem.
Heal up fast.....TCP
[I tried to think of some way to say what needed to be said without breaking our hearts. I really hated to let everyone know by seeing it on the prayer thread.]
You did it just right Amy, there was no way to avoid the deep sorrow we all feel about the loss and the injuries to yorkie.
Even though I am just a drop in from time to time, I feel the affection from all here and my heart returns it to all of you.
Thank you, Potlatch. It was the hardest thread that I’ve ever posted.
I’m sure it was. ((HUGS))

Please check the Pings. The above is a post I just made on the Prayer Thread for Yorkie concerning an update. I talked to her for a good while today and have tried to relay our conversation. I’m sure you’ll be interested in this update. She is doing as well as can be expected due to the circumstances she’s enduring. God Bless Yorkie.
Hello Dear,,,I turned off the computer early last night and then didn’t even fire it up until after 3pm today.
I can’t believe what has happened to Tiapam, Yorkie and Cardhu. I never met Cardhu on FR, but since he was pals with Tia and Yorkie we know he was good as gold.
Amy posted a nice update and was able to talk to Yorkie, thank goodness. I’m going to try to send her a card at the hospital.
Praying for all.....
I know exactly the pain you were feeling Jaycee. I have damaged my eyes too many times to count. Just a few months ago I had a metal sliver in my eye, had to finally go to emergency room to have it removed. The eye drops numbed my eye and then I had to take drops of an antibiotic. Nothing can describe the pain.
Hoping and praying for your comfort my FRiend.
I stayed off the computer yesterday because my eye was bothering me and I did something I never do. I checked my pings on my way to bed and I found out and felt like I went into shock....really! I kept reading that headline thinking it couldn’t be true. But I’m afraid it was true.
I started writing this and had a long phone call come in and it seems like an hour since I started it. I am so worn out tonight. I didn’t sleep good last night after hearing this news and didn’t sleep well the night before because of my eye problem.
Thank you, Mayor. I have been getting injections in my right eye (with a needle) once a month since October and I think they scratched my eye when they were doing all the preparations and numbing before the needle came. They think I will need 6 injections total and pray it will help. I had what they call a “retinal occlusion”, which they said was a tiny bleed behind the retina. I had been having a bit of blurry vision out of my right eye and made an appointment with my eye doctor. I had thought it may be cataracts growing because they told me 2 years ago, they were very tiny.
My doctor said “well, your cataracts are growing some, but you have a much more serious condition” and then he told me what it was. They say it can be turned around and I will probably have to have the total 6 injections. Thinking of sticking a needle in my eye scared the living daylights out of me. I do believe they accidentally scratched the eye because I sure didn’t do it.
You have to go to a retinal specialist for this. I read about it and they have 2 more years of training than the ophthalmologists. The ophthalmologists can operate on cataracts but can’t do this retina work....go figure....LOL! I expect they can charge more, too, for their specialty. Don’t you all?
Lori, I included you in this ‘cause I told you I would explain my eye condition later.
By the way, there’s a tiny chance that this therapy will not work. I have a lot of hope it will.
The toughest thing is not watching... : )
LOL!...right!! Its funny that they numb it several times, the last numbing is they put a q-tip in your eye and put the numbing liquid in and tell you to close your eye for 15 minutes. OUCH! Good thing, you never feel the needle. The doctor’s part is over in seconds.
Thank you, dear jaycee, for the update.
God Bless Yorkie

Exactly, it’s all in the preparation... : )
