Thank You, KM.
8:30 appt in the morning.
Healing prayers and successful treatment for today, Dave..Hope you have a good book!
My friend Anna often has people stop her on the street and ask for directions. This has happened to her even in countries where she is a foreigner. She wonders if its because she has an honest face and looks trustworthy. I suggested that perhaps its because she looks as if she knows where shes going. Another friend said that maybe she attracts the lost.
All of those attributes should be true of Gods people in the spiritual sense. As believers, we have purpose and direction, we know where were going, and we know how to get there. This gives us confidence as we go about fulfilling Gods call in our lives. When this kind of confidence is evident to others, the lost will look to us for direction.
God has always maintained a presence on earth so that people could find Him. His first light for the world was the nation of Israel (Isa. 42:6). Then Solomon prayed that Gods great name would draw people to Himself (1 Kings 8:41-43). The light of the Jewish nation culminated in Jesus, the light of the world (John 9:5). And now, followers of Jesus are to be the light of the world (Matt. 5:14). As such, it is our responsibility to show people the way to be reconciled to God (2 Cor. 5:18).

Had a bad result from eye injection. After the numbness wore off, I had pain that’s hard to describe. Sometimes I cry but I cry alone but last night I called my precious DIL and couldn’t control the pain or crying. She immediately called the doctor from her house and he called in an anti-biotic ointment for my eye. He said it sounded like my eye could have been scratched. They do so many things to the eye before they give the injection that it could definitely get scratched. (would be bad though.)
She picked up the medicine at the drug store. Opening my
eye made the pain worse, but we had to get the medicine in and she did. Bless her heart, she insisted on staying all night with me and did. I was having a hard time getting the ointment in and she called me from her job this morning and asked if I had used the medicine and I told her I was getting ready to. She said “now, if you can’t get it in, I will come up at lunch and put it in for you.” She works about 17 miles from me and I was bound to do it myself and finally did and called and told her.
I am keeping my eye closed the best I can. I thank the Lord for this DIL. She is a jewel. When I would get up last night for anything she would say “Nana, are you alright?” “Do you need some help?” You all will never know what she meant to me last night. I couldn’t even look up the doctor’s number and wouldn’t have been able to drive to the drug store.
There’s not near as much pain today so the medicine is working. The only thing its greasy and now its on my glasses....LOL! I’ll have to clean that off immediately. If you don’t see me for a couple of days, you all will know why.
((((((HUGS TO ALL))))))
Hope you feel much better soon! *hugs*
I'm a little surprised they didn't give you an eye patch the first time you had an injection just in case you had problems. It's somewhat difficult to keep the eye closed on your own.
Here's hoping the Rx does the trick real quick and the pain is completely gone shortly!
You absolutely lucked out with your DIL...what a prize she is!
Thanks. ((hugs)) So far it is still stuck. Hope it gets better soon. Is hard to eat.
Hope your jaw repairs itself as quickly as it came upon you.
Hope your eye problem gets resolved quickly.
I think that key will open many hearts.
Treatment went well today - only 2 hours. Took a nap.
That would be such a blessing! :)
Prayers you are feeling well!
I am thankful for good news this sad day, (((Dave))).
I am thankful you have your sweet DIL..and thankful for relief from eye pain..
