There are some things worth paying a premium price:
Good car battery
Good bed
Good work boots
Good jeans
Good whiskey to celebrate, when your mother-in-law moves out of town
Agreed, but surprized that your answer wasn’t “good tweezers.”
Good optics.
Looks like good whiskey to me.
I take it one helps with the other?
A good employee is worth spending the money on. I agree with the other poster. I see more often than naught that they keep the slackers on board, while letting the good ones get away through layoffs.
Something that is good in quality and character. This is very vague.
Whenever I buy cheap, I usually end up spending more than if I just bought something that cost more and made better. I am not saying that all cheap stuff is bad, but once in a while there is a good bargain. Also, everything that costs more is good either.
A nice fat juicy raw slab of steak... for the dog
Woof!
Good kids.
Goes along with a good wife
Good Gun Cleaning Kit
I also own a Strat, although mine is a ‘97 MIM model. I paid $300 for it new, and have spent about another $200 modifying it. The modifications consist of electrical shielding and hotter pickups, which cured almost everything wrong with it (I still wouldn’t mind having a 22nd fret, though).
Based on some reports I’ve gotten regarding Mexican-made Fender guitars, I must have gotten a really good one!
Oh, and my other guitar is a PRS CE, for which I could have bought four or five MIM Strats!
Chocolate...the poor man's diamonds!
By the time you've replaced a windshield from the one that snapped -- and -- the car you're pulling out of the ditch is back in it . . . on its side now. Well, you know.
The $10.99 box, not the $9.99 box.
I have a Baritone Strat, and am building “Coodercaster.” Here’s my ‘57;

“I take it one helps with the other?”
Never thought about it that way, but...
Actually, after 37 years together (all three of us), there may be a nugget of truth in that observation. At this point, I’m not looking to live without either one of them.
“Good whiskey to celebrate, when your mother-in-law moves out of town”
Ouch, that hurts.
Good lenses for my camera. The difference between good, and real good is why I get paid every week.
Good oil for your car.
Good dress shoes.
A real good trench coat. I bought mine 15 years ago, and it still looks as good as a new one. Buberrys never goes out of style.
