OK, this is not a flame thread. I'm genuinely curious why conservatives think Communism is so evil.
I am a Communist. I am also a God-fearing Christian, a tax-paying and loyal American, and a generally nice guy. Communism was perverted by third world despots and was never implemented fully in its true form.
Communism is about cooperation and good will. And it's important to note that economic success and cooperation are not mutally exclusive. In fact, I would argue greater cooperation among individuals leads to more prosperity and more overall happiness.
Communism has been tried numerous times since at least Hellenistic Greece. Please provide a single example of its success. You are either very young, very uneducated or very stupid.

Communism would be great if real life wouldn't interfere. Have you never taken a basic psychology course?
If you want to discourage a certain behavior, you punish it. If you want to encourage a certain behavior, you reward it.
Taking a larger portion of earnings away from those who earn more, and demonizing them verbally in every teleprompter fueled speech you give discourages folks from wanting to work harder to earn more.
Rewarding folks who don't work as hard, but have "need" of more by taking money from hard workers encourages the behavior of working less and needing more.
If everyone gets to keep more of what they, themselves earn, they will work harder, have more to spend, and benefit everyone.

Communism cannot get started without tyranny. The theory goes that as society “creates” a new sort of human the need for tyranny will fade away. This totally ignores human nature, the fact that many yearn for freedom and also the fact that many will see authority as something to abuse.
Let’s take the most recent example. OWS “drummers” charged themselves with drumming up support money, and collected money every day.
That money was then handed over to the collective and some given back.
Those practivers of actual communism in action discovered that their labor, their property and their “wages” all belonged to the state, and they learned their lesson in weeks, not months or years or decades.
In avtual practice amonst early North American settlers, the producers took a little over a year to learn that they were being used and some colonies I am sure folded because of the practice; others changed to capitalism ( read up, it is in the history books and has been posted here many times) and acheived success.
Communism quickly very quickly devolves into a 2 class system, and the powerful hold boots to the necks of the non-powerful, and any and all means are used to achieve and keep power. 100’s of millions of deaths last century alone prove how A-moral such a system is, how unforgiving and unjust.
The Declaration of Independence, which holds THESE TRUTHS TO BE SELF EVIDENT, that INALIENABLE RIGHTS ARE PEROVIDED BY THE CREATOR, and not by some Ruler, some Government, stands as the polar opposite of all that Communism represents.
Communism IS evil, it is secular and holds No truths, excepting what the Government deems as truth at that day.
You ain’t God fearing nothing.
Communism and God are incompatible.

This guy sounds like one of those “college” trained communists who thinks that communism is utopia as long as morons with “college” diplomas from America set it up. Sick bass turds. He may want to visit a REAL communist country someday. He’ll find out that communism is nothing like the bull**** he was taught in college by his Marxist “perfessors”.

!. People are a “means to an end” in their philosophy. That literally means—you are free to kill anyone for a “better” world. Individuals aren’t worth anything—they have no dignity or rights in a collective. (Exact opposite in US.) It is why the Pope has written Marxism is incompatible with Christianity.
The true evil....Lenin gets to decide what is good. There is no Objective Truth—no God. Just Arbitrary Law—is never Rule by Law—which is based on Objective Truth—One Standard of Right and Wrong—God’s. Arbitrary Laws are exactly like the Nuremberg Laws of Germany-—they are not grounded in Supra Positive Law—God’s Law. They are just made up by whomever has Power. There is no justice because only friends and relatives get the fruits of all labor.
2. No private property. The philosophers like John Locke and our Founders understood that to not be able to own property would make you a slave to the state—dependent on them for life and death. (Ultimately—you have no control over your own body or mind or children—the state can deny you food or whatever (like Russia did to millions when he starved them) if you aren’t the right ethnic group or you “Think” wrong.
3. Family is eliminated. There is absolutely no one who you can trust—not even parents. They set up society so everyone tattles on everyone else. Biology takes loyalty away from others and the state. Egalitarian societies demand that women and men are the same—interchangeable and the children belong to the state. (All happiness in human beings comes from the biological connections in life. No nurturing of children, so you get emotionally cripples and dependents and addicts).
4. They deny all forms of Religious freedom. You actually have thought control.
5. Ideas are dangerous. They control all information....In fact, Read The Brave New World to get a feeling of that world or W. Chambers book—the ex-KGB, who wrote about the terror and fear in everyone who lived in Russia.
6. They discard all Natural Law Theory (common sense) and replace it with irrational thought. Laws will deny natural law and be inhumane.
7. A human being has no dignity and worth and no right to life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness in a communist state....
There is NO UTOPIAN society on earth. There will always be those “elite” leaders and in Communism they have absolute control on everything you are allowed to do and they back it with Stasi—brutal force. This Will to Power is the mover and shaker of all societies and the most evil if left unchecked.
Without God, you can have no Virtue—that which is necessary in all civil societies that flourish. No God—no morality. Not possible.
The only reason some Atheists are moral now—is their residual Christian influence. Without Christianity, Western Civ would still be massively homosexual and molesting little boys like in islam now, and Ancient Greece and Rome and the Samurai. The SS Nazis were homosexual—the Weimar Republic threw out and ridiculed Christianity since the late 1800’s with their famous philosophers who claimed “God is Dead”. Homosexuality became the “National Vice” of Germany when God left....it was the joke of Europe to watch your back when hosting German diplomats.
All history proves the Marxist ideals were a fraud. Even the Revolution didn’t happen in Germany like Marx predicted. Even Marx knew his ideas were a fraud.
Well, that just didn’t last long at all.
Do your best to be a good communist.
Why take my word for it? Compare the number of people trying to get from Communist countries to capitalist ones to the number trying to break INTO the commie ones.
