Reading the article, it appears that they aren’t going to announce whether it exists. They are just going to announce the latest findings. From what I’ve read elsewhere, the findings have not been particularly fruitful. They have found “hints” of the Higgs, but nothing more. In other words, they found a slight hiccup in the energy curve at particular energy levels, but no smoking gun.

With all of the whores in the scientific world, would I believe them regardless of WHAT they say? Since most of them have an axe to grind; and since their biggest axe is to “DISPROVE” God, I probably wouldn’t believe them without some corroborating input from someone I trust, such as ICR.

I don't believe they found anything significant. Otherwise, there would have been rumors floating around about it before now. They'll be trying to put the best face possible on things in order to justify the expense of building the supercollider.
