Hi! ~~~~~waving~~~~~
Good evening, ladies! I’ve been out shopping for blinds and carpets with Mrs. MacNessa this afternoon. I hope you are all having a great Friday! I’m on Mrs. MacNessa’s laptop, so no graphics until I can liberate the desktop. Signing off for now - dinner.
Thank you, yorkie. Really appreciate those thoughts and prayers.
I’m feeling GREAT today. Even managed to sweep all the neighbor’s leaves from the pool. SIL cleaned up the front yard.
That's is such wonderful news! 'Tis the season!
Welcome back, Colonel!
Did she find what she was looking for?
Enjoy your FRiday night dinner!
Thanks teenie.
If you check out the msg to yorkie, I’m feeling GREAT.
We weren’t hampered by any winds yesterday during our trip to Stockton.
I’ve noticed news crews love to capture video of fires. They are powerful graphics and really capture the viewers attention.
Our neice lives up near Sonora but haven’t heard if she was effected by the power outages.
Praise God that your precious Sprite had good results from
all those tests! I know you and the family are greatly relieved and thankful!
Thanks for the welcome and above all thanks for the prayers! Great to be back :)
Awww .. thank you so much! I love bears. :) And I missed you all too. My cup runneth over :)
Did you see post #64 ?
Kind of like me and Linda. LOL.
Looks like BOTH Kitteh AND Jeeves would be healthier if they WALKED more! hahaha
You’re welcome on all fronts. I can just imagine the heavy burden that was lifted with such good news. Anyone who has been through serious worries with a child (probably most freepers) understand what you were feeling. Please give your daughter a hug for me and wish her well!

Yes, they do! You had mentioned your niece living around there so I had wondered if she was affected.
Laundry done!
Now I take a "cat" nap
Or "cat" nip!!
LOL!
When our kids were young, my wife Martie and I enjoyed family vacations in Florida visiting our parents. It was especially wonderful to be there in the warmth for a brief respite from the Michigan wind-chill factor. I couldnt wait to just relax on the beach with a good book. But my kids had other ideas. They wanted my help building sandcastles. Reluctantly, Id get up to help, only to be quickly consumed by the project at hand. Before I knew it, I had spent hours creating an impressive castlenot thinking that it was only a matter of time until the tide would wash away all my hard work.
We often make the same mistake in life, spending lots of time and energy building our own little castles of stuff and basking in our accomplishments. It all may seem worthwhile, but in the end its worthless.
In Luke 12, Jesus challenged His followers to sell their possessions and give to the poor, For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (v.34). In other words, the way we spend our time and resources says a lot about our eternal perspective. As the old hymn goes, Only one life, twill soon be past; only whats done for Christ will last. So what have you done today that will last for eternity?
