The hospital refused to say why the star was moved but it is believed it was decided that the singer's condition was so acute that it would be better if he was moved to the AKH - the biggest in Europe and where many of the continent's top medical experts are based because of the advanced facilities it offers for research as well as treatment.
The hospital has two skyscrapers, identified for navigating around the huge complex as the red tower and the green tower. He is currently in intensive care on the 13th floor of the red tower as a result of heart problems believed to be caused by the shortage of oxygen caused by his pneumonia.
On Thursday afternoon he was fitted into a special full-body bed designed to keep all the pressure off his lungs and to help them to function - so far without any sign of improvement.

UGh remember when George Michael was caught in the bushes cruising for sex with that random, hideous, fat 58 year old jobless van driver. The guy had a nasty stained mattress in the back of his van.
I like his voice.
Flashback to Freddie Mercury:
He died of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS on 24 November 1991, only one day after publicly acknowledging he had the disease.

Indeed. I believe all moral codes have a basis in physical reality - restrictions on diets and sexual conduct in ancient times were not only good for society, but also meant to protect one from disease and death. Ancients may not have our science, but they saw cause and effect very clearly.

Certainly did.
I’m sure Mr. “I Want Your Sex’’ is getting the very best medical care. certainly not the socialized kind ordinary Brits have to suffer.
Had a gay co-worker who died from pneumonia related complications. He was smart and skilled at his work. Sad to see him go but his lifestyle and AIDS got him.
He was very unabashed and outspoken about his gayness.
He was a likeable guy nonetheless. Oh well.
It’s a shame. Wham! and their stadium concerts always epitomized those halcyon days (for me, at least) of the early ‘80s.
AIDS-Related pneumonia?
Starting to sound like Freddie Mercury. I wouldn’t be surprised to see or hear a death announcement by Sunday evening at the latest.
I believe Liberace did, too.
It’s such a shame these very talented people choose to destroy themselves.
I was a music major at uni and the department was full of them. Friends and I would talk a ‘cute guy’ and if they turned out to be gay....we’d always say...”What a waste!”.
Who?
And to think he’s been picking up guys in the bushes for years.
A death bed conversion would.be nice. After all Jesus will take any penitent, surrendered soul.
Mmmm...it wouldn't have been a good recipe for longevity in ancient Gomorrah.
Ain’t no gnashing of teeth here either.
If he does go, I just hope that England doesn't lose it's mind and make his passing out to be the most lamentable mourning since Princess Di.
I wonder if he’d lend me a couple buck?
I’d pay him back Tuesday.
