“Mother I just killed a man” Freddi Mercury from Night at the Opera. Mercury was a most incredible talent. However, aids is nothing special just as alcoholism is nothing special. Aids should be treated as any other disease of lifestyle choices be it alcohol, drugs, dangerous avocation or vocation.
Those with the disease should not be given special privileges nor discriminated against. Those that have it by a choice of life style should not be pitied nor glorified. Aids is just another virus (albeit a most efficient and insidious virus) that can and will kill us.
