First Lady Michelle Obama was booed in Florida today as she made the traditional "Gentlemen, start your engines!" call at the final NASCAR race of the season.

What in the heck does Wookie have to do with being a racist? Seriously, me thinks this political correctness is reaching the point of insanity. A wookie is a big old hairy fake thing from Stars Wars. How in the heck you make the assumoption that Wookie = racist overtones is beyond me. I guess it’s cool they called Bush chimpy for 8 years and that’s ok, but a wookie isn’t an ape, a gorilla or anything even close to that so I’m totally confused. I’ve seen many people her call her wookie and nothing has ever been deleted.

I know, they can’t fix that, it’s just impossible due to the amount of distension of her lower jaw but they did remove bone when she had her chin done to try to make her mouth seem less.... how do it put this so as to not appear like a raging racist, even though many white people have the same short of mouth....... hmmmmmmm.... well, so it wouldn’t seem so... curious georgie. I agree with you 100%. But, you know how things get twisted and portrayed. If you compare someone to an animal because of their looks and that animal is a wolf, or a fox or an armadillo, there is no problem but this comparison opens the door for criticism that isn’t needed. I don’t believe it. I don’t like PC and I don’t like liberals getting a pass. But, it is what it is.

The picture is from 11/11/11 Veterans Day - It was on the USS Carl Vincent the carrier that was used to dump Osama Bin Laden at sea. It was the site of the "Carrier Classic" NCAA basketball game between North Carolina and Michigan State. It was a political set up with him playing to the crowd and both teams being from critical states that will help decide next year's election.

Well, I looked at the thread that was just pulled. Looks like some posters just can’t keep the racist tone out of their posts.

That was always handled by pulling the post - not the whole thread,again and again. And most before there were 3-4 posts, On the ones I saw, before they disappeared, there were NO racial slurs.
