for later
Did you write this pile of horse manure or is it a reprint?
DILLIGAF
He got what he deserved - for not doing something about when it first was reported to him. He should have banned the rapist from the campus 10 years ago. The number one rule of management “Everything if your fault”
Paterno was the CEO, of Penn State Football, Inc. The primary job of the CEO, protect the money train.
He protected a child rapist. If you still like Joe then maybe you’re a bad man.
The captain of the ship is always at fault..................
This is one of the most ill-informed, useless rants that I’ve ever read on FreeRepublic.
Some interesting info in the following article
If you feel so strongly about all of this, why are you waiting a whole year before you cut yourself off?
Paterno deserved to be fired, but there are others who deserve it as well. In fact, I think jail is in order for some of them (i.e. the guy who actually witnessed a child rape and didn’t go immediately to the police).
Stop defending Paterno. It is disgraceful.
He knew for years that Sandusky was using Penn State athletic facilities to abuse boys. He forced him to retire as assistant coach but allowed him continued access to Penn State facilities right up until a few days ago.
I've heard that McQueary may be protected by whistleblower laws. He reported Sandusky's actions up the chain of command so the university might not be able to fire him. He should have still gone directly to the police, but that is a criminal matter outside of his employment with Penn State.
Big game tomorrow?
Is this satire? Otherwise, you are an idiot.
Jump on Big Red.
Paterno needed to be fired, but I’m telling you, there’s something else going on. George Snuffleupagus and abc news worried about a child being raped by a homosexual pedophile? Doesn’t fit the pattern. Dems could care less about homosexual pedophiles. Maybe a case of preventive outcry because one of their own is in trouble?
BS. Paterno did nothing of the kind. Based on the word of an self-professed witness (Paterno himself had NO direct knowledge), he reported what he had been told to the responsible officials at the University, as he was required to do.
It was then up to PSU officials to act. They did not. Is that Paterno's fault?
Or, the actual witness could have or I might say SHOULD have reported what he saw with his own eyes (no hearsay) to the police. He did not. Is that Paterno's fault too?
