Guess I’m safe. My doctor sent me an email saying that my Vitamin D blood level was 147, which is 3 times what it’s supposed to be, and maybe I should lay off the supplements for the time being.
I take 5000 iu per day....is that okay????
Take some time off. Remember, Vit D is fat-soluble, so you probably have a fair amount stored, which, actually, is good to have for the winter when sunlight goes down.
I read that the half-life of Vit D in the body is about 60 days. Get it checked again around New Year’s day, you should be good to go.
