My own advice is: Don't spend a penny until we get some truly independent reports from buyers (not consultants, not universities on contract, etc.) who have taken possession of an ECAT and put it through its paces.

One possible way to tell if E-Cat is real or not is to look at funding. If he secured a loan from the U.S. DOE, then it is definitely a fraud. :)

The worst case is that the buyers remain anonymous and/or the physical deliveries are delayed, in which case satisfactory non-Rossi confirmation of ECATs is delayed. No, the worst case is there were never any buyers at all.

There are so many “if’s” and “claims to have’s” in this story as to make it useless, and devoid of any valid information.

With winter on the way - if it’s nothing more than an efficient means to heat a factory - that alone may be worth the cost of buying one.

I wonder how long before we have proof one way or the other? seems to me once money starts changing hands, the time is real soon for the proof to emerge.

Does E-Cat trade publicly? If so, what’s the stock ticker?

Update: I just saw at http://ecatnews.com/ that the headline is 'Next eCat Customer Not So Secret'. However it mentions 3 months as a timeframe to 'Ecat2'. I hope that does not mean a 3 month wait for the next unit to be completed and sold to a public buyer.
Hyperventilization is allowed on subjects of profound importance, IMHO. Just think how the Saudis and Iranians must be feeling right about now, if any of them have heard of the ECAT? :-)

AFAIK, Rossi has yet to generate even one watt of ELECTRICITY. He has, perhaps, built a potentially very low cost HEATER. But I’m patient. I wish him success. But I want to see Rossi light a light bulb, lots of them.

My guess is that, if it works, that the potential buyers will sit on it and continue to sell their more profitable energy producing products.

One of the stipulations of the sale contract may be continued secrecy, until such time as Rossi & Co. feel that it is no longer necessary to protect his device from intellectual theft by some foreign entity...........
