The biggest problem is that he was making himself open to blackmail. To report things as a blackmailer might want him to report things. Is it really likely he developed these habits AFTER he was the UN inspector? It makes any report he ever made suspect.
He should have been given 20 years for such “repeated” acts he was caught at. This pos hopefully has a painful an unhappy life. Nothing less than he tried to impose on those children.

This would be front page new and all over the MSM had Ritter been a conservative. As a hero to the Left, he remains unexposed by the MSM partisan media despite his own tendencies to expose himself.

A forgotten moment of history. Scott Ritter’s sworn testimony to a US Senate committee decrying the Clinton administration’s lack of commitment in shutting down hidden Iraqi WMD programs. The same programs he afterward said were no threat.
Testimony never once mentioned by the media when Ritter was making unexplained diametrically opposed statements.
MR. RITTER: Mr. Chairman, with all due respect, I cannot speak on behalf of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Nuclear disarmament issues in Iraq are their purview. But what I can say is that we have clear evidence that Iraq is retaining prohibited weapons capabilities in the fields of chemical, biological and ballistic- missile delivery systems of a range of greater than 150 kilometers. And if Iraq has undertaken a concerted effort run at the highest levels inside Iraq to retain these capabilities, then I see no reason why they would not exercise the same sort of concealment efforts for their nuclear programs.
