LeBron James Is Recruiting Steve Nash To Join The Heat to 'Help Each Other' Win First Ring
Business Insider ^ | 10/27/2011 | Ariel Sandler

LeBron James may have canceled his NBA world tour plans to spend more time with his family. But he’s found plenty of time to recruit more stars to Miami.

LeBron tweeted this Thursday:

"Maybe @SteveNash in a Heat uni! So we can help each other get our 1st ring"

Nevermind the fact that Nash is still under contract with the Phoenix Suns for one more season. Or that there’s no way this could work financially whenever the league resumes.

If LeBron doesn’t think three all-star players are enough to win his first championship, he’s got bigger issues.

This can’t make Mario Chalmers or Mike Bibby, last year’s Heat point guards, too happy either. Then again, Chalmers and Bibby don’t have their own suit collection.

Steve Nash is a gentleman. Very few of them in the NBA today.

No bleeping way would he want to associate with ghetto trash like James.

Nash is an idiot with a big mouth.

He was an outspoken anti-Iraq critic, and railed against Arizona’s immigration law.

I’m sure he’s a nice guy otherwise.

We wont be seeing these sissy’s in the NBA Finals anytime soon. Dirk and the boys will be back but the Heat wont.

He was an outspoken anti-Iraq critic, and railed against Arizona’s immigration law.

He's not even a US citizen, he's Canadian.

Better yet, maybe the Miami Heat can trade Lebron James and a few draft picks to be named later for Steve Nash, seeing that his abysmal performance in the 2001 NBA Finals shows that he is a loser and always will be.

Nash is a good player, probably the best active passer in the game, and easily one of the best pure shooters. But he is a big liability defensively, and has to have the ball to be effective. Would that really work with three ball hogs?

You two are correct about Nash.

Steve Nash may indeed be a gentleman, but he was very inappropriately vocal (in my opinion) in condemning Arizona’s AB 1070 as supposedly racist. He may be a prince otherwise, but I’ll long remember his very public stance on that issue as a “Shut Up And [Play Basketball]” moment.

I have to defend LeBron James here. He’s not a bad kid.
Very arrogant, but he seems to be a good citizen and has never been in trouble with the law.

Aside from endorsing Obama (yuck), he generally stays out of politics. He was very pro-USA at the Olympics in Beijing.

Considering his upbringing with the whacky mother, I would say LeBron turned out ok. I have no reason to call him trash.

>Steve Nash is a gentleman. Very few of them in the NBA today.<

He’s canadian and an avid follower of Che and the Communist Manifesto. kept harping about the “greatness’ of socialism and a backer of fag rights, especially the now-retired fag president of the Suns.
