Internet pornography is creating a generation of young men who are hopeless in the bedroom, according to research.
Exposure to lurid images and films in the new media is de-sensitising so many young people that they are increasingly unable to become excited by ordinary sexual encounters, a report said.
-snip-
The report, called 'Porn-Induced Sexual Dysfunction is a Growing Problem', explains that the loss of libido 30 years early is caused by continuous over-stimulation of dopamine, the neurotransmitter that activates the body's reaction to sexual pleasure, by repeatedly viewing pornography on the internet.
A 'paradoxical effect' is created whereby with each new thrill, or 'dopamine spike', the brain loses its ability to respond to dopamine signals, meaning that porn-users demand increasingly extreme experiences to become sexually aroused.

This study is backwards. Those that don’t perform well with real women spend all their time on internet porn. Cause and effect runs the other way.
Oh baaby!
Ewe look maahvelous!
Bump
Stimulating enough for you?
This is exactly the opposite of what we have been told for decades: pornography leads to rapes, child sexual abuse, etc. etc.
I do believe this article, as there is an air-brushed perfection in all online content - not just pornographic, that leads to impossible expectations - nobody can live up to it.
However, I’d be surprised if this is limited to just males.
I've read that women buy more porn than men. Imagine that.

Mmm-hmmmm.
The sexiest pre-wool sweater I’ve ever seen.
And lamb chops.
Ewe’s not fat, ewe’s just fluffy.
I thought it was if a man gets enough sex he won’t be interested in masterbation.
And you believed it?
It destroys a man's ability to control himself.
It distorts the view of sex into thinking it is about his own pleasure.
The combination of masturbation and porno will age a man sexually so that he will be impotent at a very young age.
And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed (Pr.5:11)
The real is never as good as the fantasy, that is the lie that porn sells.
I read one article here where some kind of seminar speaker on relationships said that after his seminars he was invariably rushed by loads of college women who told him that internet porn was absolutely ruining their relationships, that so many men they dated were completely disconnected from the real world in terms of interacting with an actual woman, never mind the sexual dynamic.
Just what this article says.
BTW, I think real world women also contribute to the desensitizing of men. So many walk around practically naked all the time. They must not realize that if you walk around naked long enough, after a while no one notices. That’s not a good thing.
There's a whole lot of teens who will prove you wrong.
Hoo boy...
Ain't the Public Library gReAt???
You have a good point. I have observed an example of that.
When I worked at a nuclear plant some years ago, we would put on our anti-contamination clothing near the contaminated area where we were going to work. To do it, we’d just strip down to our underwear and put on the coveralls right out in the open. We were all professionals, and it wasn’t a big deal.....Except for this one deconner. She was VERY WELL built. When she dressed out, things would stop.
After a few months of this she got tired of the attention. She came to work without underwear. As usual, things stopped when she dressed out that day. But after that, she wore underwear again, and nobody paid any attention to her.
except now there are camera sites you may visit and watch young women and the “ultimate reveal” live . And men pay them in the “currency” of those sites. These are the girls next door or in Eastern Europe not hags. And they have public not private exhibitions. 1000+ may watch any particular woman while a small number compensate the most successful entrepreneurs a couple of hundreds of dollars in an hour.
