Sarah Palin had a plan...

Con artists usually do.

I’m sorry I don’t buy it.......I hope she was but I think she just was taking her time. I hope she endorses a true conservative because if she somehow endorsed Romney FR would turn on Gov. Palin. If Cain can get an endorsement from another Conservative to help with fundraising it would be a massive boost Sarah Palin or Jim DeMint would be invaluable!

Boy is that a stretch. But hey, whatever makes you feel better.

I think the plan might even be more complex than that. Granted, the media guns have now turned on Herman Cain and the mainstream media are soon going to attempt to destroy him as he is the only person standing between Mitt Romney and the GOP nomination. Mitt Romney is the preferred nominee by both the liberal media and the Obama campaign.

My guess is if Cain is somehow driven from the campaign and it is a Romney vs Obama race, there WILL be a third party campaign and that Sarah and perhaps even Cain will be a part of it.

That said, here's hoping that Cain can prevail and secure the GOP nomination because I think that is our best shot to not only end the Obama presidency but to advance the conservative cause in a very significant manner.

I happen to agree with you, plus the fact that the timing for her to run is not right, the media has blackened her image so badly, that now is not her time.

I also believe that she will be an immense help to a true conservative candidate in this election!!

“She sacrificed herself to protect the best conservative in the race. To give us a chance to elect Herman Cain “

This must be the most ridiculous statement I read all year.

If there was even a remote chance of this being true, she would have endorsed Cain shortly after her announcement, just the same way Christie endorsed Romney.

Palin decided to not run for reasons of her own.

We’ll see how active she stays in the 2012 politics, I think she will be active, is just waiting a bit. But no way will she endorse Cain.

Sarah is not running. Get over it.

If we are so busy looking at what we supposedly lost, we lose everything.

Get the heck over Sarah!

Sarah Palin was taking the flak for Cain, I believe.

You're kidding, right? This is too biblically-symbolic by half. Cain was destined for over-the-top media scrutiny as soon as he rose above Perry in the polls.

Sarah's presence or absence has nothing to with that. And if you're right, should we now despise her because she's abandoned her mission of protection?

That's taking YOUR plan and 'trying' to give it some credibility using the Sarah name. Doesn't fly!

Palin stayed to cover Cain, giving him as long as possible to stay out of the harsh, biased media spotlight.

Pathetic. She didn't 'stay' anywhere - she wasn't in the race to begin with. When she made her decision, she told us - it's that simple. You got a problem taking her at her word?

However, you seem to have very little faith in Cain that he some how needs a cover. The media is not being harsh on him at all!! You have NOT been paying attention if you think he being questioned about his plan is harsh.

I think it’s a lot easier to accept her explanation, that family comes first, and let it go. Had she not had a couple of teenage daughters and a special needs son, the answer might have been different, don’t you think?

Sorry, but I’m never going to think that putting ones family first constitutes betrayal of some political ambition.

It makes sense, but only on the condition that the underlying premises are true. Without certain information, it’s still only a guess.

Nothing wrong with expressing your thoughts.

Lol, just no. I doubt she’ll even endorse him. Sarah Palin is for Sarah Palin. She’ll wait to see who endures before she’ll endorse. She wants to be seen supporting the winner.

I am a big Palin fan and I wanted her to run.
She decided not to and I am not so vain as to second guess her decision or mean-spirited enough to put nefarious intent into it.

But by not running she crashed her stock and that is the political reality. She can still be a player as a proven crowd pleaser but even this ability will wane as her place in politics becomes more and irrelevant since she took herself out of the power club.

She is a good woman with a fine family and has several happy paths before her even without the violent threshing floors of cut-throat politics.
Happy, but not exciting, to her (IMHO) or to any who may still follow her.

LOL

Like when she talked him up on Greta’s show but couldn’t show him enough respect to say his name right? She kept calling him “Herb Cain”?

She was taking flak for HERB? And then she graciously bowed out so he could take over?

That’s funny!

Oh, that's why ahe very clearly called him HERB Cain three times in one interview....it was a "plan" to help him.

My word, she is playing three dimensional chess!!!

She sacrificed herself to protect the best conservative in the race. To give us a chance to elect Herman Cain rather than Mitt ObomneyCare or La-raza Rick.

Yeah right. That's why she hasn't endorsed Cain, although she did endorse and work for Rick Perry in both his primary and general election last year.

Not sure what she is doing; she seems to have gone silent and vanished. I’m not too thrilled with her anymore.

She sure did!

Get as much money as possible making us rubes thinking she is running, then split with the cash!

She had a good plan for herself, it just didn’t include us!
