Newt is looking better- what do you think??

We need a real conservative and fast. Bachman came and went and does not have the resources to compete. Santorum cannot catch fire. Cain does not have the resources and staff to really compete and his 9-9-9- while bold, has too many holes in it. Perry, who I thought would be our savior needs to sit on a cattle prong during the debate and get some fire, and that is not going to happen. He has come and gone. Huntsman is not a conservative, in fact he may be coming out of the closet soon. Romney is a RINO, as we all know.

So that leaves us with Newt. Newt is looking better and better everyday. He has the knowledge, the fire and is the best debater. Obama does NOT want to debate Newt. The mantra is always Newt has baggage. Well, everyone up there last night has baggage. We all have baggage. Clinton had baggage under his desk. Obama has so much baggage, you would need a bus.

I think we all need to take another look at Newt. He is the only one I trust right now! Your thoughts please?

Agreed. Newt is by far the most intelligent.

One thing’s for sure. Christie’s endorsement of Romney didn’t magically turn Romney into a conservative.

Romney is the SAME man he was last week, when Christie’s supporters didn’t want Mitt to be their candidate.

I wish there was a provision in the Constitution for an ‘intellectual whip’ in the executive branch. Nothing has given me more pleasure than to watch Gingrich give the ‘look-at-me-ain’t-I-clever’ media (including Fox types who should know better) a tongue-lashing over their idiotic gotcha questions and their general failure to do their jobs (again).

He always does so well in the debates.

He’s an excellent public speaker and certainly knows how to accomplish things in DC.

If he would could come out with “My contract and promise to Conservatives”, acknowledging his past errors and what he will specifically do to promote conservatism and how he will govern as a Reagan conservative”... it might help.

I’m now leaning towards full steam ahead to retake the Senate, improve the numbers in the House and then have the conservative congress hold Pres. Gingrich’s feet to the fire.

NEVER AGAIN will we let a President go crazy like Bush did.

He sounds good, yes.

But he still has a sorry history of actions and activities in the 90s.

Clinton was impeached. Gingrich was the one who lost his job — forced to step down as Speaker.

Ethics problems/investigations.

Personal (marital) havoc.

Basically walked away from his House seat.

So what has he been doing for the last decade? Writing books, being a news commentator, and being in think tanks.

No matter how fast he runs, Gingrich cannot outrun his past. And the MSM/Dems would love to use that trainload of baggage against him in the general election.

How can a globalwarmingist be called a conservative???? How can an amnestyite be called a conservative??? AGW all alone is an economy killer and requires rapid and extensive government centralization. His opportunism and political acumen would make him a great VP pick. His opportunism and stated positions on hugely socialistic principles should render him anathema for the presidency.

I agree and I honestly don’t think Romney will be all that wonderful against Obama in a debate situation. Gingrich would demolish him.

Newt for Secretary of State. I'd say Sec of Defense but I wouldn't want him basing strategy on the War of Northern Aggression.

Oh please let's really start thinning the heard. Newt is the smartest. I would take him and Cain and Bachman. I also like Santorum.

No to Newt. If two (2!) EX wives can't trust him, I CANT trust him. His belief in gloBULL warming knocked him out of a serious run before he even filed.

I love newt on the sidelines, but he needs to get off the playing field.

Newt is the brightest man in the room, and also the most experienced when it comes to left wing tactics. He'd clean Obomas clock.

I'd gladly take Newts private failings over Obomas presidential failings!
Newt may have hurt two or three people, where Oboma has hurt almost every person on the globe!

This election isn't about who stuck who. It's about saving the U.S., and the globe, from the chaos the left has created. It's going to take a strong leader to do what has to be done. I just don't see the other candidates being tough enough or crafty enough.

I like Cain too, but honestly, he’s going to need at least 3 years to learn the ropes.

If you’ll get a chance, listen to Newt’s speech at the value voter’s summit. His knowledge of history and of government is stunning. He’d be knocking Harry Reid’s head around with out-manuvers so fast... it would be fun to watch. Of course, Harry Reid will no longer be MAJORITY leader.
