MY GRANDMA’S KITCHEN
Grandma’s Kitchen plaque that hangs on the wall
Was put there to be sure it was read by all
It tells you what to expect, you can be sure
If you should plan a welcomed visit with her
She’ll offer you cookies, cake, ice cream, or toffee
Perhaps tea, milk, Pepsi, water, or even coffee
Be prepared for good things to drink and eat
‘Cuz grandmas offerings are always such a treat.

Saw the spine specialist today. He says I have a lot of arthritis in the lower spine and some pinched nerves both sides. He recommends epidural cortisone injections which I will have at the earliest opportunity. Still waiting for the results of last week's bone scan. Otherwise not much to report

My daughter had injections...and it took longer than is normal to help..They had all given up..but it did help!

I love that poem and a few years ago, one of my
granddaughters bought me one of those plaques
and it says:
NANA'A KITCHEN
Where Memories are Made,
and Grandkids are spoiled!
And on the left is a heart that says:
Open 24 hours!
I thought it was sweet!
