Answer this question honestly and you'll see why Palin's influence is gone. (Vanity)

Posted on 09/29/2011 1:04:44 PM PDT by Scythian

Let's suppose Cain wins the nomination. Do you think he's going to pal around with Palin on the campaign trail or pick her as VP?

The honest answer is "No". Cain would need independents and Palin has a lot of negatives, also, she's from Alaska, not a key state. The simple truth of the matter is Palin is no longer important as some think she is. And any candidate that latches on to her, or rather, let's Sarah latch on to them could quite possibly end up losing the independents. So, watch for the nominee to distance himself (whoever he might be) from Palin. The base would be with Cain, Palin could only drive potential voters away.

Again, if you think about this honestly, I think her time in the bright lights is coming to an end.

In full disclosure I was a big time Sarah fan, but no longer, Cain is my guy now and I'm not switching away from him.

Thanks! Never been a big Perry fan. I think he’s an opportunist & I have had to vote for him every time he’s run because he’s the lesser of 2 evils. That gets old.

Have always been a BIG fan of Sarah’s, though, & I don’t think anyone could have held up as well as she has from the avalanche of hatred she’s endured. Sometimes from both sides.

Look deeply into my eye. Can you spot anyone who cares? Cain is “your man”. Wow! He’s feeling the love already.

There are a few reasons why some Women do not like SP. One big reason is that she had the courage to keep her Down syndrome baby and they did not. She is Beautiful with a great personality, great figure and she has an attractive manly man for a Husband, they do not. Men of all stripes think she is attractive and sexy, and make comments about it to their wives or sweethearts, that makes them very jealous. She started out as just a PTA mom with problems with the local Government, she plotted her course and saw more problems, and more and more went on a crusade to change Government, and she did. She had the courage and energy, drive to do all this and still raise children, all the while smiling and keeping her killer sense of humor. They did/do not, and resent her for setting the bar too high for them.

Bottom line is that Sarah Palin has done it all, with one exception, and is still young and influential and still out there plugging while so many women just want to be pampered, and that is very sad. She makes some woman look bad even though it is unintentional God bless her she is way out in front of the rest of us.

Is it really necessary for each camp to disparrage the other? It’s obvious you are not for Sarah...so you think we should all just give up?

Go suck an egg! You must be for Perry or Romney or Cain.

Interesting that you use that kind of icky language. sounds to me like some guy that has been parked with his date for an hour, and after he took her to Dinner and a Concert, he expects her to put out, and since she did not,he wants to do a drive by at her house and throw her on her front lawn. Yikes!

As of “the other day” - he had not won the nomination yet. What do you supposed will happen?

I’ve got news for you, Scythian. It’s the independents, disaffected Democrats and tea party Republicans that are Palin’s natural constituency. If she wanted to, she could run as an independent and would have a darn good chance of winning a three way race. People don’t love the Republican party so much as the loathe the Obama led Democrat party. If the Republicans were smart(the stupid party?), they’d fall all over themselves to nominate Palin and celebrate in Nov 2012 their largest victory since Ronald Reagan.

I think many of you are missing how much establishment elite politicians of both parties are despised by average citizens. There’s a rebellion brewing. Palin 2012

Silly boy, you do not get it. She is trying to get the other candidates to show some guts, and not let the media play them like a fiddle. She is very good at saying what she means, you just have to pay attention. She really like Herman Cain, but she is outlining what the others should be saying, and is not endorsing him.

I don’t think so. You are mixed up.

You said Scythian must be for another candidate.

You were *buzz* right about that. I was just agreeing. All I added was that the poster has moved on to a person who hasn’t a problem stepping up to the plate.

So...what’s with the attitude?
