Mark Levin says Rubio is a natural born citizen, and threatens to ban birthers on his social sites.
Where has it been set?
Look at the white house...who or what has been sitting in that chair for almost three years now...
I’m going to play by the exact same rules set for him, and there ain’t no way I’m going to hold anyone else to a different standard.
Ye gads! If obama can hold the office of president, then so can Rubio, who I’m sure has a certified copy of his birth certificate he can produce.
What a bunch of arm-chair attorneys on this site. I trust Mark’s expertise more than any of the hullabaloo written here.
But, Obama’s BC was an entirely different issue than his parent’s birthplace.
“The LAW of Natural Born was defined by God...”
Golly, I didn’t know that was part of the 10 Commandments, or that the Jews deserve persecution over it.
The natural law would say someone born naturally is natural born. The USA has NEVER used “blood of the father” to determine citizenship. We go by where someone is born. That is why we don’t submit genealogies to get a passport...
More to the point, “natural born citizen” was a term with a precise legal meaning at the time the Constitution was adopted. So deal with THAT meaning, and not what you pull out of your butt.
He was a below average student through elementary and secondary school. He claims to have attended Occidental College although there are no available transcripts. He somehow was accepted into a prestigious liberal university (Columbia) with no explanation of how he applied or why he might have been accepted. There are no professors or students who remember him attending.
Based solely we assume on racial preference and perhaps foreign islamic intervention he was accepted at Harvard Law School. Although 'chosen' as the editor of the Law Review he wrote NO articles. It has been clearly established by Jack Cashill, Ph.D., and Rhodes Scholar that he did NOT write either book he claims to have written (without help!).
We know that Obama Sr. was an arranged marriage and not his real father. As to the identity of his biological father, it is any one's guess. Obama Sr. was a marxist; his mother was a marxist; Soetoro was a muslim; Obama attended muslim school. We know he has lied repeatedly and wantonly re: his birth and his family history. It is suspected (for many diverse reasons) that he is not a natural born citizen and that he was illegally elected.
We know he was a bagman for the Chicago Daley criminal mob and that he assumed the role of a street thug race-baiting 'community' organizer. We know he was a friend of anti-American terrorists in Chicago. There are distinct rumors that he is a closet homosexual. We know that the purchase of his house in Chicago was illegal and that he conspired with known felons. We know that his wife was paid an absurd no-show salary for as Obama was 'groomed' for further advancement. We know that he was, if any thing, an adjunct instructor at the U of C, and not an associate or full professor.
Let's force him to resign now! Let's vote articles of impeachment now! To allow this criminal to sit in office for another 14 months is criminal and will destroy this nation FOREVER!
Oh contraire! Your problem is that you think the LAW is confined to 10, when if fact, God had no intention of stopping. It might behoove you to actually study The Book because the 2nd set that was written after the 1st set of tablets were broken do not start out the same as the 1st. The 2nd set starts out at the end, then encompasses the beginning & Levin being a devout Jew surely knows this but as usual, politics before principle & Law, remains the demise of man & society. The Bible specifically defines who are the natural born and who are not, but a Greco-Roman mindset is not able see the truth and the last I checked, our God was neither a Greek or a Roman but chose Hebrew for His pure language.
“Some courts, relying on dicta in United States v. Wong Kim Ark 480 equating natural born with native born, have indicated that those who claim citizenship solely by parentage are naturalized citizens.”
“The result of the principal case is to limit the category natural born to those who become citizens under the doctrine of jus soli;6 this makes it co-extensive with the term native born. Of importance in this problem is whether these children took the nationality of their parents at common law, for if they are citizens by virtue of their birth and without the aid of statute, then certainly they are natural born and not naturalized citizens.”
Thank you!!! This is what I have been trying to tell the Vattle Birthers and they keep saying no. Do you have linky thingies for these, because I am going to maybe put them in a Internet Article.
This is the "fallacy of authority." A person can study for years on the Constitution and never bother learning anything at all about article II. Most people focus on other aspects of it, such as the bill of rights.
I have pointed out repeatedly that the Constitution mentions Jesus, and most people seem shocked to be made aware of this.
BINGO !
Big Constitutional scholar who makes reference to the document on almost every show; he only seems to want to teach liberals. Why not teach us conservatives too, Dr. Levin? I know our legal definition of natural-born is hardly settled law. But you could present both sides and tell us why you come down where you do. But you don't.

I think his parents became citizens before the fact, thus I´m inclined to agree too.
Interesting, out of context, does not advance your opinion, but the majority opinion of the USSC in WKA never declared that Wong was a NBC. That wasn’t an issue. The nature of the basic term “citizen” was.
Wong, not being an NBC, sued to be declared a citizen under the tenants of the 14th Amendment. The court agreed that he was a citizen as per the 14thth Amendment. They further stated that his citizenship, his rights and responsibilities, did not differ from those of a NBC, thereby avoiding establishing differing classes of citizenship with differing rights.....No second class citizens for the USSC.
The value of WKA was that it began answering Justice Gray’s rhetorical question, posed in the Minor v Happersett decision, of .....other than Natural Born Citizens, who we all agree are those born in country to citizen parents, what other circumstances result in citizenship? The court did not address that larger issue in Minor, because it went beyond the scope of the case which revolved around the rights of citizenship (women’s sufferage.) The plantiff in Minor was a NBC.
The question of who shall be citizens, is an elvolving issue, that is likely to change in the future. The Gold Standard of citizenship, a Natural Born Citizenship., is a term that is both defined and settled in US law and will not change or be redefined despite all YOUR “birther” efforts.
Question???? Throughtout the NBC crisis, Obama has not once claimed to be a Natural Born Citizen, not once. He always says, I was born here I am a citizen.......As a constitutional law professor he should know the Article II requirement for holding the Presidency is NBC, and so state. He does not because he is not.
Deuteronomy 17:15 ~ you shall surely set a king over you whom the LORD your God chooses; one from among your brethren (brother of same parents, half-brother (same father), relative, kinship; BDB Hebrew Definitions) you shall set as king over you; you may not set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.

BTW, the last I checked, Exodus 12 still comes before Exodus 20 where the laws were formally written down, so deal with THAT!
I prefer the Constitution and the Rule of Law not the Rule of Men, as conservatives do.
Talk about dishonesty! Foreign-born isn't the issue. My father was foreign-born, but he was naturalized long before I was born. The issue is whether the person's parents were citizens, not natural-born citizens. Chester Arthur is the only one I know about who at birth had a non-citizen parent who wasn't grandfathered by the Constitution itself. Maybe you can tell us about the other six who you think are relevant to this discussion?

The biggest problem I have with Levin on this topic is that he really refuses to even address the issue. What is his opinion on the Constitutional definition of a natural born citizen? How does he come to such an opinion?
Am I wrong to say that Mark Levin has been avoiding this issue?
It is the same thing in regards to the Courts. They have really just been avoiding the issue thus leaving us very possibly with a future Constitutional crisis on our hands and the travesty of someone serving illegally as President.
As to your last point, McCain was challenged in this regard so I would suspect that this would of came up in regard to Rubio despite it coming up with Obama first. Lets remember as well that this entire issue was raised by democrats in regards to Obama even. It was never started by conservative republicans but by Hillary supporters.
You are lying, it is not settled.
“In any event, if Obama is a Natural Born Citizen, I dont see why Rubio shouldnt be.”
But the question about Obama remains unresolved (at least to me).
Direct question:
Do YOU believe Mr. Obama to be a “natural born citizen”?
Apparently you do, IF you also believe Mr. Rubio to be one. It is an undisputed FACT that neither of his parents were naturalized citizens at the time of his birth (legal residents, perhaps, but NOT “naturalized”).
However, it doesn’t matter whether you or I believe Mr. Rubio to be natural-born or not.
The left and their sycophant media is going to RAISE HELL over this. They will not let it rest, period.
This issue is going to be raised before America and it’s going to be raised high, IF Rubio becomes a candidate for the presidential or vice-presidential offices.
Conservatives had better be prepared to answer definitively (perhaps it will take the Courts or Congress to provide that “definitive” answer).
At this time, they definitely ARE NOT “prepared” to provide such an answer.
Just sayin’....
