CHARLOTTE COUNTY - A fifth-grade teacher lost her job this month when school administrators and parents were anonymously sent images of her engaged in sex acts and apparently smoking marijuana.
In June, the Charlotte County School district office received two envelopes containing four still photographs and a thumb drive containing five videos of Natalie Santagata, a teacher at Kingsway Elementary School in Port Charlotte since 2002.

So now I know why the Abigail Beechers of this world seem both so happy and so sore when they walk into home room.

I can’t tell from the fuzzy picture if she is guilty or not. Please post the full videos.

I don’t agree with what she did, but I sure would love to know who the “snitch” was who turned in the files. I think that is just horrible. Talk about Big Brother. If she was a good teacher and she did this on her own time especially with her husband (not sure) than she possibly has a good lawsuit at least towards the person who turned over the envelope.

Classy.

The news report mentioned an ex-husband or former boyfriend. And not the starting five? That's almost encouraging.

I’m leaning not guilty, but with better focus this may flip against her!

A case of gross stupidity: taking videos of your “private” moments.

I can make out a sexy sneer. Today for some reason that’s enough for me. Not guilty. Further evidence appreciated.

"
Please quit posting your juvenile masturbatory fantasies in the Main forum." If FR wants to be rid of this stuff, I would suggest pulling the threads as they appear, and possibly doing the same with the overused Guilty/Not Guilty "debates", which were once a witty play on the Debra LaFave thing way back when.
That got wore out, probably about 2005 or so. Somewhere the cultural aspect of what is going on got co-opted.
Then perhaps some enterprising individual could start a website dedicated to wondering why they didn't have teachers like this when they were in 9th grade, etc etc.

Sure, and maybe next time a topic like...let's say...gay marriage comes up as a debate in my church--I should just not bother with having an opinion there, either. Surely the type of folks who don't believe there is a culture war (or, more correctly, are just on the other side of it) are bound to make certain comments about it in that setting as well. I should just therefore move on.
But the more specific point is that the powers that be evidently don't like to see this type of thread here, either. But instead of doing anything actually material about it, they jsut rearrange where it shows up. OK, not my house, I don't make the rules--got it. But, strange.
