Strange Ebay find is part Plymouth truck, mostly Corvette and entirely bizarre

Ever seen a Corvette and wished it looked more like a vintage pickup truck? We haven't either, but that seems to be the line of thought that brought this odd vehicle to life. Currently listed on Ebay, this third generation 'Vette has the face of a vintage pickup truck and the body of an aging beauty with way too many modifications.

Now that’s weird.

From the mirrors, flying headers to the bullhorns.

I saw a pickup on Mecham that had a corvette chassis. Great looking truck, but I’d save this for Saturday night and funerals.

The Longhorns add a nice Texas-style touch.

I’d buy it, I’d drive it.

(But I’d pay no more than $4,000.)

Introducing the 2012 Obamamobile. Based on DNC polling, Government Motors has produced the vehicle nobody asked for. It runs 0.2 miles per day (downhill only) using decomposing manure shoveled in the back.

It needs cowskin seat covers and one of those loooooong airhorns going across the hood.... and the horn needs to play “Look Away”.

The horns on the hood just make this contraption look tacky.

After turning on the computer and seeing the frightening headline on Drudge about the stock market, I really needed a chuckle this morning. Out of a pretty funny thread, yours is the first (so far!) that got me to laugh out loud! {^) Yeah, definitely, it was the horns! {^)

"..how do you see past the engine?"

You don't need to. That's what the horns are for.

I gotta tell you ... hours later, I'm still giggling! I've come back to that ridiculous photo and then your comment a couple of times today, and even showed it to my sweetheart (who has restored and hot-rodded many old cars, owned several Corvettes, and -- God help us -- has set of longhorns mounted on the wall in his studio!) and we both giggled ourselves into fits at your dry observation that "the horns on the hood just make this contraption look tacky" ... !!

We'll certainly consider the veal!
