Okay, here is a weekend fun challenge: Guess how much of Dianne Feinstein's campaign cash was stolen via embezzlement by her treasurer Kinde Durkee. We already know that Durkee WIPED OUT the campaign cash of Loretta Sanchez so it is hard to believe that she wouldn't have touched at least some of the $5 million of Di-Fi cash. This little BLURB from the L.A. Weekly doesn't make it look too good for Di-Fi:
Feinstein's re-election campaign had about $5 million in the bank as of June 30, according to the disclosure forms Durkee submitted.
Durkee has been accused of filing false disclosure statements to hide transfers to her own funds. Feinstein's consultants have been trying to ascertain whether Feinstein lost any money, said strategist Bill Carrick. Banks have frozen Durkee's clients' accounts, and have asked for notarized release forms before disclosing their balances.
"This is gonna be a long time figuring it out," Carrick said. "There's no way to access anything."
Your humble correspondent is going to go out on the limb and guess that Durkee embezzled $4.5 million from Wi-Fi. What is your guess?
If the total is over $3 million I am predicting that Wi-Fi would just throw her hands into the air and give up trying to run for re-election. Just too much trouble to raise that money again.
I hope she stole it all and spent it. Not a dime back to difi scum. But then again the bank will probably reimburse every penny.

Although many of us are enjoying the Labor Day weekend holidays with friends & family, one of the most interesting news items for politicos this weekend could be unfolding right now for Democratic politicians across the state.
As reported by the Associated Press, longtime Democratic operative Kinde Durkee was arrested on Friday by FBI agents on suspicion of mail fraud. Durkee, as any of our liberal, Democratic friends would tell you, has been the campaign treasurer for hundreds of candidates and elected officials across California for decades. Her client list extends to 113 separate committees for left-leaning candidates, PACs, and causes.
According to the AP, the state FPPC (Fair Political Practices Commission) has had to come down on her multiple times for failing to report transactions. San Diego’s Ethics Commission has even dinged her for similar offenses.
Talk about guilt by association, folks. The hit piece potential from this could upend many established Democrats up and down the state, notably in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. The full list of clients can be found here, thanks to our friends at Sacramento Bee.
Durkee’s web of clients even extends down to us in America’s Finest County. One of those San Diego-based candidates/electeds who hired Durkee is none other than South Bay’s evenly sketchy Arlie Ricasa — as if there’s not enough dirt on her already. Birds of a feather, right?
Durkee is expected to make her first appearance in court on Tuesday.

From January 1, 2009 to July 1, 2011, Kinde Durkee submitted 242 campaign finance reports for groups or committees with either the name “DEMOCRAT” or “DEMOCRATIC” in their formal titles, per the Secretray of State’s data base.
Durkee submitted exactly TWO (2) reports for a GOP group, the obscure, “National Organization of GOP Armenians” (which spent less than $1K the last year).
SUMMARIZING THOSE TOTALS FOR YOU
* 242 reports for Democrat groups
* 2 for a single Republican group.
That’s a 121-to-1 ratio for the Mathematically-minded.
There are dozens more Durkee reports filed for various Labor Union-related PACs and prominent Democrat office-holders like Gil Cedillo, Paul Krekorian, Jose Solorio, Ted Lieu, Jerome Horton, and…..

Loretta Sanchez’s funds ‘nearly wiped out’
A week after her campaign treasurer was arrested by the FBI, U.S. Rep. Loretta Sanchez’s office says the congresswoman’s campaign account “has been nearly wiped out.”
Adrienne Elrod, Sanchez’s chief of staff, declined to say how much is gone, but confirmed that the account managed by Kinde Durkee is nearly empty. According to Federal Election Commission records, Sanchez had $378,928.50 in the bank at the end of June.

This will probably cripple if not neutralize the Rat’s phoney non profits, which laundry money to elect and reelect rats in California.

There are restrictions on using campaign funds-—and earmarks-— where pols cash out-—are gone).
Kinde might have been taking a bundle for herself-—and got greedy-—so the pols called her on it.
A possible reason for the leftie cpa looting her liberal buddies and non profits may be tied into Maddoff, Stanford and local shysters with their ponzi schemes based on mythical properties.
Some county DAs with the resources and trained man power are wrapping up a few of these cases.
We have at least two situations here, which left businesses broke, individuals losing most of their life savings and funds set up to maintain stuff like graveyard maintenance with no funds.
These Ponzi Scheme crimes were committed during the rapid escalation of most property values in this state and others. People invested their money, others’s money, and whatever money they could get their hands on before the Ponzi schemes blew up. Then, they borrowed from their banks, second mortgages, credit cards, parents, and siblings until they couldn’t borrow anymore.
Banks found themselves holding mortgages on 2 - 4 million dollar homes, whose value fell to maybe a half million with all types of seconds/thirds/home equity loans and credit cards. Some of those banks have got really tough on those, who lost money to Ponzi scams. Maybe this babe was on a high up on a list of defaulters and really had pressure put on her by banks and others down the credit line.
As BofA lays offs thousands, watch it and other banks roll over on Freddie/Fannie and anyone who owes them big time.

The day after Sanchez openingly stole her election with illegals and other criminal actions, I rode down to SFO to catch a plane to LA on our airport limo/van.
On the limo, there was a couple who were still hung over from their party celebrating Sanchez’s illegal victory.
I called them terrorists for supporting a terrorist who used illegals to win an election.
The van got very quiet until they got off first.
I got glares from the liberals on the limo and thumbs up from the people like us.
Maybe Kinde took more than her normal 20-40% for laundering the cash before it went over seas?
I have the feeling she owes millions to people who have no sense of humor.
