MERRILLVILLE, Ind. -- Indiana state police said troopers found a shirtless man marching along Interstate 65 in northwestern Indiana while holding a nearly 3 foot-long samurai-style sword.
The man was spotted Sunday near where a car was abandoned in the middle lane of I-65 in Merrillville. Police said the man swung the sword in a defensive manner as officers approached him but dropped it when ordered. He then tried to get into an SUV that had stopped to avoid hitting the man and officers.
Police said that after the man was taken into custody he gave troopers different names or addresses. When he was taken to the Lake County Jail, he said that he was "cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs" but wouldn't give his identity.
He was jailed on resisting arrest and other charges.

Careful.
He might be a democrat voter.
Or, more likely, a democrat politician.

I just had a great idea for a new game show.
The contestents would have a news story read to them and they would have to decide if the guy was drunk or on meth.

I guess it’s time to consider spicing up my life. I mean, I have never once considered the many benefits of marching shirtless down an Indiana interstate highway swinging a 3-foot Samurai sword, telling police that I was “Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs”. I gotta work on that...

Can't say, don't watch it, haven't had a TV since 1975.
But offhand, that does sound plausible (that Shirtless Guy always lands in jail).
