It occurred to me that Tropical Storm Lee must really be wreaking havoc upon the efforts of Troy Landry and the other Swamp People in their alligator hunts. Right now, the Louisiana Alligator season has recently begun.
Will the Swamp People be forced to refrain from hunting alligators for a few days? Also what affect with the extra water in the bayous have upon the hunt?
I guess we will find out when Season 3 of "Swamp People" is broadcast.
Ice Road Truckers fizzled out after the first season and I never really could get into "Axe Men" so "Swamp People" is my favorite program.
He said as the water recedes, we'll pick up the worms and in a few days, we'll be fishing again. Big smile!!
Never thought that the storm might effect the show...Love the show...hope it does well this season...
Must be William, he has the fewest toofs of any of them.
Water is high, so it means you can go deeper into the marsh and swamps than you normally can, a little rain and wind don't bother them folks too much.
Tyler is staying indoors. That I know.
That’s Bevis and Butthead in their older years.
The high tides making the gators come up onto the roadways. Easier to get them now.
Don’t forget about the “Gold Rush” show. That was also a good one.
Beavis and Butthead aren’t smart enough to reach old age. Glenn and Mitch are definite survivors.
During high water, gators come to you.
I haven’t seen any gators on my property, but a few have been spotted on the road about a half-mile away. I’ve got some snakes trying to get dry.
Remember one bass tournament I fished in a few years ago, it was raining so bad that all 3 bilge pumps were running on the boat at times.
We stayed out there all day even so........Tyler is smart :^)
I get irritated with the gold rush show.
The guy who is supposed to be in charge doesn’t appear to have any people management skills and his old man needs to be kept on a leash. The guy who does maintenance and mechanical work seems to know his stuff but he doesn’t belong there in such poor health. The whiney guy with the beard left thank God. Guess I just don’t like the way that everybody stops to watch one guy deal with problems.
The pro they brought in on the last couple of shows has the potential to straighten things out but he needs total control.
I for one could not live like the “Swamp People” do. But I sure as hell admire them for being able to.
E-liz-abeth better watch for ricochets when she choots.
Fric & Frac? ZZ Bottom?
I love the show and I hope the guys (and “Liza bet”) do just fine. I know one show stated that this is how most of them make most of their yearly income. I think the “Mitch” boys will be fine no matter what. You can say what you want about them.. but you can’t say that they don’t know how to survive on their own.
I love this show. My husband picks on them when I watch, but I bet he’d jump at the chance to “go along” for a day of gator hunting.
I used to love Deadliest Catch, but after Capt. Phil died I found it too sad to watch. *sigh*
May effect the film crew but not the locals.
(I’m near Belle Chasse)
