It's going to be interesting to see how this tropical storm dumping all that rain on the bayous is going to be reflected in the show.

They had some dude on...he had a few teeth...

He said as the water recedes, we'll pick up the worms and in a few days, we'll be fishing again. Big smile!!

I live about 25 miles away from where they film (Pierre Part area), weather has not been really that bad. Winds probably 25-40 MPH but not constant.

Water is high, so it means you can go deeper into the marsh and swamps than you normally can, a little rain and wind don't bother them folks too much.

Don’t forget about the “Gold Rush” show. That was also a good one.

I for one could not live like the “Swamp People” do. But I sure as hell admire them for being able to.

I love the show and I hope the guys (and “Liza bet”) do just fine. I know one show stated that this is how most of them make most of their yearly income. I think the “Mitch” boys will be fine no matter what. You can say what you want about them.. but you can’t say that they don’t know how to survive on their own.

I love this show. My husband picks on them when I watch, but I bet he’d jump at the chance to “go along” for a day of gator hunting.

I used to love Deadliest Catch, but after Capt. Phil died I found it too sad to watch. *sigh*

May effect the film crew but not the locals.

(I’m near Belle Chasse)

“Swamp People” is a great show. Although it is about Cajuns, all through the South are similar characters accustomed to making a hard living from hunting and fishing.
