Like the title of the thread says, there's a new freeper among the ranks. I've been a constant lurker on FR for about 2/12 years now, so I know my way around FR pretty well.
Homeschooled christian conservative, not a gun owner yet, unless useless dinky little BB guns count, cuz' I have about a dozen of those.
I don't have a job yet, or a driver's license, although that will probably change soon, cuz' I'm 17 years old.

LOL and Thanks for that LOL moment. Have to tell you though, I do not carry a cane nor walk with one. My young-ins threaten me all the time with do this, do that, dye your hair, etc. Simple things, and old ways, nothing better ... I am a senile old foggee. I'm proud of that.

Nonsense. My mother fought some epic battles with nursing homes that she felt were not taking proper care of my grandmother.
I would hate to go in a home, and I’d hate to put a relative in one. To me, nursing homes symbolize death. Going in one is saying in essence “My life is finished. Time to curl into a ball and die.”
Regarding the nonsense part ... you are correct, plus agreement on some (not all) nursing homes. Per hating to go into a home ... agreement ... don’t want to go to a nursing home. Them young-ins of mine though are out to get me .... these gray hairs are my witness.
Do we still have the velcro welcome mat and the ladder made of cheese?
