You wanna smile? I spent an hour tonight in the emergency ward of the eye clinic - because I shot myself in the eye....................... with my water pic! (damaged my cornea - but with drops, it will heal!) What a day!

Ouch!!! That did NOT make me smile....made my eyes water in sympathy! I hope you’ll be better soon! :(

Well, luv - I had charged the water pic all night - and didn’t remeber that it was still plugged in this morning - and the box that plugs into the outlet got tangled up with a container on my counter - and I accidentally hit the ‘on’ button - and it hit me - smack in the eye! DANG - that water packs quite a wallop. The doc said I was lucky that I didn’t have Listerine in my water pic - as many DO.

My cornea is scratched and my vision is still very blurred - but after seven days of the drops he gave me - I should be fine!

OK - bed time - and prayers for RAIN in TX and OK!! ((((HUGS))))

So sorry to read about your eye injury. Prayer’s offered up for healing and discomfort you are experiencing.

BTW, I believe there is a medical procedure that might be better for catarac removal. :^)

LOL...sorry. It's probably a local saying but when the wind off the Sacramento and San Joaquin river deltas comes in we get what they call a delta breeze.

It doesn't always reach up here but it's so nice when it does. We have one tonight and it's gorgeous outside...about 68* right now. That's almost 30 degress cooler than it was at dinner time.

So glad it didn't do any permanent damage. Not a fun thing to even THINK about!
