SAN ANTONIO -- A cattle hauler ended up squeezing through an underpass Monday afternoon on St. Mary's Street near Brackenridge High School.
Although a stuck truck is somewhat of a regular occurance, we thought the picture of the aftermath is worth a look.
The collision caused the top of the trailer to peel back like a can of sardines... errr cows.

Thanks, Finny.
Whenever I see cows lately, I think of the wonderful movie, TEMPLE GRANDIN,
with Claire Danes, and the amazing and humane ‘herding’ device she designed
for the comfort of cows going to slaughter.

Following the accident, a citizen called the fire department.

I’ve been in the transportation industry for 20 plus years, and I’ve had some made my butt pucker even though they weren’t marked.
One of my favorite Bill Engvall jokes:
Cop to the Truck Driver: You get yerself stuck?
Truck Driver: Nah, they sent me here to move this bridge, I’ve been waiting on an escort. Where’d yall want this thing?
Here’s your sign!

My SIL recommended that movie to me, too. I’ve read her books and think her methods make total sense, but all reports are that Danes did a great job with the movie/subject matter.
Netflixing it next! :)

I love true stories. Danes does an exquisite job. I thought Temple Grandin would be a vegetarian but not at all; she just wanted to engineer more humane treatment.
And her ‘hugging’ device is awesome. Hope you like the movie.

With so many homeless people living on the streets, why
should those cows have a roof over
their heads?
I have to wonder though, just what part of, "CAUTION: CLEARNCE 4.2783 Meters," he didn't understand?

The first cop on the scene turned to the truck driver.
“Well done,” he said.
