It was about three weeks ago that Jerome Corsi, author of "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President," called me with some disturbing news.
In response to the success of his book (No. 1 at Amazon in pre-release stage) and the elevation of the eligibility issue because of Donald Trump's big megaphone, his sources in Hawaii were telling him that Barack Obama was about to release a fraudulent birth certificate.
Corsi urged that WND report the story. But because of the nature of the warnings, I didn't think it would be meaningful. What good would it do to report that unnamed sources investigating Obama's eligibility expected him to do something he had resisted doing for two-and-a-half years? Details were thin. Who would pay attention?
In retrospect, it probably was not the right call.
But I was not surprised when the White House delivered the document that Hawaii officials had previously stated unequivocally was not available to anyone, even Barack Obama himself.
Since the release of what I consider to be, at best, an inauthenticatable image of a document, Corsi has returned to Hawaii for more on-the-ground, first-hand investigation and the results are startling.
Far from putting the critical issue of constitutional eligibility behind him, Obama has opened a Pandora's box of questions and controversies that no single document may ever be able to address definitively.

thank you
“When Dan Rather’s bogus documents were initially exposed on line, actual paid experts took over for news organizations of all stripe and CONFIRMED the likelihood of forgery. NOTHING like that has occurred in the case of Hussein’s long form.” - LB69
WRONG
The affidavit in the link below was written and submitted to the courts under penalty of perjury by a scanning and imaging expert.
Follow the link below to the affidavit and let me know what parts of the affidavit you find weak. You are interested in the truth, right?
Ahh, a wounded conspiracy theorist is an ugly thing to see. Pulling out all the stops eh? Those who don't believe in birther conspiracies? They must be Karl Rove! Never mind that, as pointed out to you previously, prominent conservatives like Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, etc, etc, etc, not only don't buy the birther conspiracies you hold so dear - they actually make fun of you for it. So did Mark Levin become a Karl Rove clone? Tell me, is Glenn Beck secretly morphing into Karl Rove?
Hey dingbat. You speak with your head buried where the sun don't shine. I back up my statements. Yours are full of BS and fallacious arguments. I'm not a "Truther" you village dingbat.
Your venom just shows your thin skinned. What you've got is a conspiracy theory, that is all. When it is taken to court your theory gets thrown out. Where are Trump's investigators that were supposed to be finding "amazing" things they "could hardly believe"? LOL. Another case of supposed investigators promising big things but finding nothing.
You mean the ones who live in the media world or in that beltway bubble we call DC. The ones who need media access to make a living. The ones who have a book to sell.
Because Corsi doesn't have a book to sell right?? Because WND doesn't have a conspiracy focused website with a niche audience hoping to get as many hits as possible right?? Birthers are trying to make a buck selling stuff just like anyone else. They are no more noble, they just happen to be pimping conspiracy theories most people won't ever believe in.
Your vehement postings by trolling these threads says otherwise. Then take your own advice since you think it is a waste of time then quit posting on threads since it is ALL a waste of time so why waste your time? Just get lost.
Movements need to police themselves. When supposed conservatives such as yourself go over the edge and become obsessed with loony conspiracy theories it is the responsibility of others in the movement to at least make the minimal effort of pointing out why they are wrong.
Because someone files an affidavit with their "expert" testimony does not make it right or even something to be taken seriously. All of this birther stuff will continue to be tossed out of court. None of it will ever go anywhere.
If he was born in Kenya he wouldn’t be a US citizen, period, but not all birthers think he isn’t.
From the beginning there were a lot of birthers who didn’t say he was born in Kenya. They believed he was born in Hawaii. They were bothered by the idea of dual citizenship at birth because of his father. He seemed to admit to that.
They’re still bothered by it. They were bothered about Sen McCain,President Arthur and Gov George Romney and they are bothered about Rep Rubio and Gov Jindal for the same reason.
If he was a dual citizen at birth it could be a problem under the eligibility clause of Article II of the Constitution, the 14th Amendment, the Civil Rights Act 1866, the Expatriation Act 1868 and USC 1401.
Wong Kim Ark and Perkins vs Elg don’t deal with dual citizenship. Minor vs Happersett would support the birthers’ worries. There’s nothing to settle the argument, unless you go to Lynch vs Clark in the NY courts. So the birthers would have a good argument, if he was born a dual citizen.
No first rate lawyer will touch it though.
You are putting up a strawman argument.
Do you know the scientific definition for the word "theory" without looking it up? I doubt it. You're the one who is spouting Karl Rove propaganda here. You better look around because Karl Rove is not too popular because of his policies and who he supports. You're another one who needs someone to tell him what to think in the media. That's not logical or a coherent argument to make by appealing to them. It's foolish. Actually, Rush makes fun of Obama and his lack of eligibility.
Your venom just shows your thin skinned... Where are Trump's investigators that were supposed to be finding "amazing" things they "could hardly believe"? LOL. Another case of supposed investigators promising big things but finding nothing.
Thin skinned? Same to you...that's why you're responding to my post, and you don't take your own advice to leave this issue alone since you think it's not going anywhere. What we have is time and lots of it. Much has been found but you want someone to give you the go ahead or confirmation in the media or some wimp noodle RINO from some "approved list" what to say like a Bot. Ultimately, there is no time limit to expose Obama. The truth about Obama's past is not a problem with you for some reason.
Movements need to police themselves. When supposed conservatives such as yourself go over the edge and become obsessed with loony conspiracy theories it is the responsibility of others in the movement to at least make the minimal effort of pointing out why they are wrong.
You're so full of it. It would take Obama to admit he was unqualified for office for you to believe that it wasn't some "loony theory" and even then you would wait until Beck told you it was true.

At least Corsi is not sticking his head in the sand. He has done some investigating reporting.
You -- Laa-laa-laa with fingers in your ears...nothing to see here, but I'm here anyways to deride people.
How is that in any way relevant?
You figure it out.
The conclusion I reached is that you don't know what you're talking about.
My conclusion is that you’ve been clueless for years. So I didn’t expect you figure it out.
That is silly of you - does it, or does it not, matter if experts weigh-in?
...flip-flop...
For expert testimony before you were against it...
Is your real name J F Kerry? (You two have a ton in common.)
I was trying to give you the opportunity to explain yourself, because as it stands, it’s the dumbest thing I’ve read in months.
You did not read the affidavit, did you?
It is in an active case related to the Gulf drilling moratorium.
I doubt it; you’re a disingenuous BS’er.
It is interesting that when one “move along, nothing to see here” poster gets schooled - another pops up.
Yes, I did, but that does not make what is in this affidavit useful or true. Nonsensical affidavit's filed by "expert" witnesses is not unusual. If they believe it to be true, they can attest to it - but naturally conspiracy theorists tend to think crazy things are true.
Exactly what are your “expert” qualifications that qualify you to slander the author of that affidavit?
Do you have any challenges to his analytical assertions?
More silliness from you - first you call for expert testimony, then when it is presented - you claim it is crazy based on the side of the argument, rather than the merits of the analysis.
Silly bow.
