I say mission accomplished. We asked for the birth cert, and he finally was forced to deliver. These lame attempts to present it as some kind of forgery are the same kind of armchair quarterbacks who kept insisting that a missile hit the Pentagon.
I agree the arguments you listed are weak with the exception of the legal fees, time, and effort spent avoiding releasing the Certificate of Live Birth. Not only did an officer go to jail, Obama used the resources of the government to fight these suits. That doesn’t add up, but there’s a risk of marginalizing.

Your weakest point might be the number of the BC re the Nordykes’. Our butterdezillion and corsi both have good arguments why the number order is still suspicious.

To me, unfortunately, a lot of the furor over this document stems from human nature. Everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame. After Buckhead notoriously siezed on a discrepancy in the font on the famed letter at the heart of the Rathergate scandal and thereby derailed an obviously manipulated attempt to smear G.W. Bush, everyone and their dog is grabbing at any perceived inconsistency hoping they’ll be the one to unravel the lie.
Another freeper put it best, by pleading that this not become the conservative equivalent of “the first time in history that fire melted steel”.

Take a look at the last “1” at the 6:44 time of the Denninger video. If you know anything about digital imaging, you will have to conclude that that digit was digitally doctored.
I challenge you to reproduce something like that by just scanning an original and mot messing with it.
BTW, this was never a big issue with me, but having seen the Denninger video, I’m convinced that someone perpetrated a fraud.
I predict we’ll be hearing a lot about that little “1”. It contains a ton of evidence.

After all the hoopla, I would rather have found that there was at least one thing I pushed on today that didn’t “give.” But that hasn’t been the result so far.
I am still very interested to see what Corsi’s book will say when it comes out in less than a month.
Incidentally, Corsi has released a statement today that at least sounds confident. He implies that Obama’s Presidency may not survive his book:

Did the President of the United States lose his long form birth certificate, and that is why he needed to order a new one in April 2011 before he could prove to the public that he was born in Hawaii at Kapiolani Hospital?
NOTE: I guess the obvious next step for Obama would be to allow Kapiolani Hospital to show his mother's August 1961 hospital records to a group of selected reporters in order to verify that Obama was born there as is recorded on Obama's long form birth certificate.
I certainly don't disagree with that. I know that one government lawyer made 3 trips from DC area to Georgia in regard to one of these suits. I'm sure the White House would contend that a) there were other eligibility issues in the lawsuits that releasing the LFBC would not have addressed, and b) government expenditures was trivial (and they probably were, to THIS crowd) - but it burns me that they spent anything. It burns me more what they did to Lakin.
