Vanity: What is the official FR stance on Obama's birth certificate and the 2012 election?

I'm just curious what the official Free Republic stance is on Obama's birth certificate with respect to the 2012 election. Is demanding Obama produce his long form birth certificate a requirement of every prospective candidate? Is it the litmus test for supporting a candidate? So where Mitt Romney is rightly persona non grata around here it is OK to push Donald Trump and defend his positions because he is pushing the birth certificate issue? And write off true conservatives like Mark Levin and Michele Bachmann?

It seems this is happening a lot around here these days so I'm wondering if it's the official position of FR?

That is like asking "what color is the rainbow?".

Looks like there is no consensus yet. I see it as a 50/50 split. If the Corsi book or Trump come up with some irrefutable evidence, I see that changing. Otherwise it is still a fun argument to have and even better to watch the MSM losing their minds over it.

Your font is virtually unreadable (and painful) as you have been told in the past.
Why don't you post in computer friendly font?

They have been apoplectic over Trump's apostasy, and that's been fun to watch.

I don't know about anything
official...
We do know this:
- We still don't know in what hospital Obama was born
- The certification of live birth provided has the certification number blacked out. (I'd like to know why)
- Hawaiian officials have said they no longer provide long form birth certificates
- Freeper Danae obtained her Hawaiian long form birth certificate in Oct 2010
- Another person obtained their long form birth certificate March 2011
There's no reason Obama can't provide his long form birth certificate.

I think that there's something on the long form he doesn't want the public to see.
I haven't seen any solid evidence that he wasn't born in Hawaii, but I did pre-order Corsi's book and am looking forward to reading it.

Saving my seat for later. This will probably be a really interesting thread. :)
I'm not a supporter of Mr. Trump in the primaries, but wonder where I'll be later on if he were to win the nomination.

JR’s position historically on the eligibility issue itself has been that FReeers will sort it out through debate and investigation.

LOL the issue is not about his birth never has been. Oh I mean we can bicker if he was born in Hawaii or Timbuktu doesn't matter really, unless there is proof ALA smoking gun, i.e., moms passport to Kenya in 1961, authentic Kenyan BC, forged US BC etc...
The real issue is about the office of the President having a certain amount of respect for the citizenry that they preside over.
When a Totalitarian egomaniac like the current arrogant narcissist is, occupies the White House, it is incompetent upon; "The People"; to force him back to earth and if it means that yes he does owe us an explanation about the myriad inconsistencies in his life then so be it, every other President in our history has been an open book, America deserves no less.

Your supposed simple questions reek of your own personal biases. Just by reading your questions, I know exactly how you feel about the subject. Nice try at acting but no awards.
