I spent about 3 hours at the flower and garden show, got tired long before I covered everything. The exhibits were spread out over at least 4 or 5 acres, and there were more displays in the main conference room. They were running gardening clinics in another room.
It's a charity event sponsored by the garden clubs.
The turnout was impressive and it's still got another day to run.
Y'all keep the noise down, I'm gonna take a nap!

SS, ya did it again, more wonderful photos from your land of Blue Skies and Sun.
But not up here in the Chi metro area - yet. It's now 37o and raining. And the only flowers I can 'see' are the ones I took photos of back in Oct when I first got my D3000.
Here's a couple I took before I even read the manual. I just turned it to Auto & on 'Flower' (Macro) and shot away.

They're all Begonias and still looked pretty good for it being October 2nd.
I saw a Robin last week when it was warm for one day, 82o.
Haven't seen any since the temp dropped.

Here's one more I shot. I can't recall their name, it was in a hanging pot on our fence.
I call it Last Gasp as they were ready to go.

All these were with the two Nikkor Lenses I bought with the camera.
I just ordered a new lens from B&H (the wife doesn't know), a Sigma Autofocus 70-300mm Macro Zoom :-)
