My question to you all is: Can you think of any other good reasons for a Birth Certificate to be half typed and half handwritten?

Old story was the records were destroyed. All that existed was the COLB.
Now there’s another document. Show it!

Maybe they mean the data was typed in, while signatures were handwritten?
Anyway, the document you posted is a “Certificate of Live Birth”, not a “Birth Certificate”, and I guess there’s a difference between the two. Barry has already presented his COLB, which is way different from that you’ve shown.
Hopefully The Donald will get to the bottom of this.

I don’t think the “half” was a precise amount. I think it was a figure of speech meaning PARTLY written and PARTLY typed, but even at that, I’ll believe it when I SEE it.

My original hospital certificate from Sept 1960 is all hand written with my footprints on it.

One thought that comes to mind is that it is impossible to expect that any birth record would be normal since there is absolutely nothing normal about Obama.

1/2 written, 1/2 typed? Where do they come up with this crap?

I dunno, my birth certificate is half typed, half hand written. Some of the boilerplate: name of hospital, borough (this was NYC), etc. is typed. Time of birth, number of live children in this birth, sex, mother’s maiden name, father’s name and occupation are handwritten.

I'm still not getting how Dr. Chiyome Fukino says he's viewed the original Birth Certificate, yet the current Governor of Hawaii said he couldn't find it?
Geez people! Get your stories straight!

...then that implies...Fail.

That's a new selling point for Obama's birth certificate.
See! Only half of it is fake!

When I was born, the Doctor came out of retirement to deliver me.
He had for years told the parents that he would name the child:
Alfred Martin (Last Name) if it was a boy or Alfredia Martinez (Last Name) if it was a girl.
My mother was a very small woman and I was nine pounds plus upon delivery - a huge weight for a small, petite woman in the 50’s.
The nurses were convinced the scale was broken and while they took me from one scale to the next the Doctor named me Alfred Martin (Last Name).
This set up a cascade of events...I ended up being hand and foot printed four times for four different birth certificates. Alternating from:
Alfred Martin (Last Name)
to
First Name Middle Name Last Name
to
Alfred Martin (Last Name)
then finally
First Name Martin Last Name.
And EVEN I HAVE A REAL BIRTH CIRTIFICATE!

On my original birth certificate, my father's first and middle names are typed, but his LAST name is handwritten in. My parents were married over 2 years when I was born, and my mother's name is correct. All the other information on the birth certificate is typed. I have always wondered why my dad's last name wasn't typed in, but handwritten.
I figured I didn't dare ask while they were still alive. Now that they're gone, I know I should have.
ok, no snarky comments, please ... lol

On another board, someone said that the most compelling argument Trump has is that the Factcheck.org COLB has not been presented as evidence in any of the [12?] court cases.
I sure hope the above is true.

at this point, i don’t give a rat’s ass what’s on it. I WANT TO SEE IT!
until i see it, i say Dingle Barry is a fraud!

"My question to you all is: Can you think of any other good reasons for a Birth Certificate to be half typed and half handwritten?"This would happen when the State Div. of Vital Statistics would type in what information they had, after the doctor had filled in the parts pertaining to his role: Medical history of mother, etc., plus signatures of whoever was responsible for filling out the information. In those days, it was common practice.
