Seriously...Since Donald Trump has been on the birther crusade for well over a week, and arguing with the likes of Whoopie Goldberg on the View about it and displaying his birth certificate as a challenge to President Obama on the issue ... providing a copy of his birth certificate to the conservative website Newsmax, I have seen very little if any heavily critical stories about Trump raising the issue...maybe a few snarky remarks, but no mocking him as a total nut or loony, no hit-pieces trashing of him! maybe I might be missing it but I haven't seen it
If anybody else had done and said the same things as him, they would be immediately denounced by many in the MSM or some Congressman - but for him its a no.
If Sarah or for that fact any other major potential candidate were to do the same thing that Trump is doing for a week, they would be attacked...just like when Bachmann or others either made a comment, a joke or or made a slip up statement on the issue.
Maybe the media doesn't see him as a threat?
Trump is a big time democrat...all his donations to politicans prove it....
I think there are enough Americans out there, that if it turned out that Obama scammed the system and the Demoncrats protected him, they’d be in deep trouble, with some prominent names going to jail.
And there’d never be a better time to reform the system.
Most businessmen give the most to whomever is in power.
Even if Trump was philophically a Democrat, his integrity might allow him to overcome party loyalty.
The main reason why I’d want her to run for a seat, is not because she necessarily needs legislative experience.
It would give her a public record that she can defend and relate to the American people. I don’t think her record as Alaska’s governor gives her that.
You might as well have made her president of Guam or Puerto Rico.
If Trump starts getting a bump in the polls, the others may have to nuance their responses more. The GOP establishment does not want to touch this issue. They will help the MSM and the Dems to demonize anyone who raises it. Trump is and will be a target.
“This isn’t a man anyone is turning to for his judgment on serious political matters.”
But he’s getting the media coverage that eluded the serious military officers and their attorneys, isn’t he? Paragons of virtue and proper behavior don’t attract audiences. The very fact that Trump has received virtually none of the usual “birther” attacks” speaks to how the media knows better than to cross him. The political types in DC answer to the corporate honchos in NYC or Atlanta. I’m thinking the casino magnate holds a LOT of markers.
Can't agree more, Danae. In my personal view, Palin towers over the rest of the field. So much so, that it's somewhat amusing to me that there's even a debate about who would be the best choice for our nominee in 2012.
You should get post of the day, if there were such a thing!
Well, thank you. You know, I've often thought about posting a "Post Of The Day" thread, just to have a place where folks could gather the better posts we run into on the forum.
I have seen this allegation made. But is there any PROOF that Obama has spent over a million dollars trying to keep the BC a secret?

Ahh, this one came out just right. Basketball in the right place, lol.
Trump has far better access to information I will never have. So if he has new information, I will have to believe him.
If it was not true MSM would have made a big deal about it.
Since they have not, and since I have seen this said by so many respectable people, I tend to believe it.
.
LOL! Thanks!
Amazing potlatch!
So fast!
It looks like it is 6 frames -
The brain fills in the phantom frames -
People can see a whole range of things in that .gif

Your eyes have extra ‘frames’ in them....lol. I see a ball go up and come down!
They are now ignoring The Donald.
Mika B's head almost blew off this morning on Morning Joe. "I have to call the Donald", she said.
