Seriously...Since Donald Trump has been on the birther crusade for well over a week, and arguing with the likes of Whoopie Goldberg on the View about it and displaying his birth certificate as a challenge to President Obama on the issue ... providing a copy of his birth certificate to the conservative website Newsmax, I have seen very little if any heavily critical stories about Trump raising the issue...maybe a few snarky remarks, but no mocking him as a total nut or loony, no hit-pieces trashing of him! maybe I might be missing it but I haven't seen it
If anybody else had done and said the same things as him, they would be immediately denounced by many in the MSM or some Congressman - but for him its a no.
If Sarah or for that fact any other major potential candidate were to do the same thing that Trump is doing for a week, they would be attacked...just like when Bachmann or others either made a comment, a joke or or made a slip up statement on the issue.
Maybe the media doesn't see him as a threat?
Because Trump produced his own BC in an hour and NEVER CLAIMED OBAMA IS NOT BORN HERE! If you observe more carefully, what Trump is saying is that why can’t Obama just produce the BC available in less than an hour and why has Obama spent over a Million dollars trying to keep it a secret.
So your premise is wrong in calling Trump a birther. Trump was very careful to not go that route.

The 3 attacks used by Commies won’t work on Trump:
#1 He’s racist! Nobody believes Trump is racist.
#2 He’s stupid! Nobody believes Trump is stupid. Bush/Palin/Bachman/Beck are supposedly “stupid,” but this isn’t credible when said of Trump.
#3 He’s evil! Nobody believes Trump is evil. Cheney can be painted as evil, since he doesn’t have the public persona or charm of Trump.
Since that 1/2/3 punch is the only thing the Commies have, they literally don’t know what to do. Thus, they’re probably busy digging up photos of Trump spanking a hooker.
They’ll release those photos with their logic: “Here in these photos, Trump is spanking a hooker. Thus Obama’s birth certificate isn’t important.”
Also, Trump fights back. He doesn’t lay down and get kicked. The more the Commies attack him, the more he wins.
They can’t protest too much because it would get attention. There’s no way for them to spin it without bringing more attention to it.
The MSM is between a Barack and a hard place.

Trump has gone back and forth on this.....he said that he believe that he is born in america and then at one time that he would be constitutional ineligible if he wasn’t born here in this country
That’s what I was thinking in my post -— the MSM attacks only those that they really fear. there have been a few snarky remarks but nothing major.
Two reasons.
1. Trump is well-known and well-liked by most Americans on either side of the political spectrum. His positions are well known by most people and therefore much more difficult to have his positions defined for him. Whereas, Sarah Palin allowed herself to be defined by the media, because she wasn’t skilled enough to define herself.
2. The media had to protect Obama during the first term, so he could push his agenda through before America got to know him. Now that Americans know him and find him wanting, he’s now considered disposable. They will not protect him to get him elected for a second term.
Or maybe they do think he is serious and the last thing they really want to do is jump on him because anything they say or do will keep the issue itself in the public eye — and THAT is what they want to avoid.
They are hoping upon hope that Trump just gets bored, gives up on it, and gets interested in something else. If they respond, they will just stimulate his interest even more.
It’s the MSM version, maybe if I ignore him, he’ll go away.
I think the MSM is setting us up.
If they allow it to become the ONLY issue for ‘the right’ in 2012 all Obama has to do is “ta da” release a forged BC and the election will be basically over.
It won’t matter if the forgery becomes apparent later, because the MSM won’t mention that. It’ll all be too late.
The funny hair and the TV Trump hide a very ruthless businessman.
As he slowly builds the case methodical question by question - you can be certain this wealthy and calculating shark understands the possible response and has all of his ducks in a very tidy row.
To attack Trump is to beg the question, and The Donald might just have an answer, long since prepared, that you prefer not to have aired.
This is not minor league play. The reason the big boys have not called him out is his reputation for setting up “so called” bright bulbs and abusing them for all to see.

#1 is bull....with Sarah! She was defined within 1 day of her being announced as Vice President candidate - banning books, charging rape kits for rape victims, belief in Earth is 6,000 years....etc...all lies because they feared her. The inept McCain camp said “don’t worry about it”
#2 The MSM will always be ‘in the tank’ for liberal agenda, they are not going to abandon Obama, they haven’t yet
Trump represents American capitalism.
He isn’t moslem. Isn’t a commie. Isn’t a dirty traitor.

I’m going with the theory that since he’s carrying Hillary’s water on this, he’s going to get a pass. During the campaign, Hill got the could shoulder, but now, it seems that some in the MSM either have buyer’s remorse, or think that 0 is vulnerable.
did you read that article?....calling him loud mouth is snarky alright but the rest of the article isn’t attacking him REALLY but just stating his positions and what others have said AND THE daily news IS HEAVILY LIBERAL
