I think the cancer starts with teachers and media who feed liberal rubbish to people around the clock and those people are usually not inclined to dig a little deeper to educate themselves.
Thus, they accept what they are fed from what they consider to be a reliable source. The challenge for conservatives is how to break the cycle.

The resulting culture has no reason for self control or personnel responsibility.
I’ve decided it’s a tribal thing. Take my family for instance. They root for the Red Sox and the vote RAT. Neither tendency is based on logic. You root for the Sox cause you live in Boston, and you’ve always rooted for the Sox and you hate the Yankees. You no more would pull the lever for a Republican than you would go out wearing a Yankees cap. This is the best I’ve been able to do. Other than this there is really no explaining it.

Trying to speak logic to a liberal is like trying to teach a pig to fly. A waste of time for all involved and very annoying to the pig.
It’s even simpler than that. Leftists (they are not liberals) just want to feel good. They want to feel good physically. Even their mental feelings extend from their physical feelings. They may be capable of mimicking human behavior but their inner life is no deeper than that of unicellular protists.
It would be a total waste of time to treat these THINGS like people. They are too numerous to annihilate so the only thing we can do is prevent them from destroying the humanity of the young. This is not possible most of the time.

Liberals want to have their own way, to have their cake and eat it too, all with absolutley NO consequences for their behavior. That includes financial consequences, silly things like college and home loans and health care.

Liberals can not be bothered with reality. They have such a sincere hatred of Rush and Beck they refuse to listen. They’ll only expose themselves to liberal media because it calms them and validates their “beliefs”. They can’t debate Rush because that puts them in their place.
Conservatives suck it up and watch the MSM on occassion. They expose themselves to all aspects and all viewpoints because conservatives are naturally open minded and open to debate. It is indeed satisfying to know that we’re always correct.
I think you are correct and look what happened to the USSR, massive alcoholism, drug abuse, disease and millions of abortions as the people knew they had no freedoms or future in life to better themselves or their families.
