No doubt someone’s already mentioned it, but I’d bump one of those for the original “The In-Laws” (although in actuality, Arkin’s “Fire Sale” is the only movie to ever make me literally laugh myself sick).

Well, one of my all time favs, even though it's Barbra Streisand, is "What's Up Doc?"
Others include "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles,"
"The Hangover" (hysterical)
"It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" and
"Liar, Liar"

Absolutely the original "In-Laws" was perfect.

1/ Airplane: Started laughing 15 minutes into the film. Laughed continuously through the countless across the board jokes and left with my sides aching.
2/ Monty Python And The Holy Grail: A no to low budget marvel that works on all levels. Even with Trojan Rabbits, Holy Hand Grenades and split cocoanuts replacing horses.
3/ The Blues Brothers: Wanton destruction throughout the state of Illinois. Belushi and Aykroyd at their absolute best!
4/ His Girl Friday: Machine gun dialogue between Rosalind Russell and Cary Grant is a marvel to absorb. Near slapstick pacing requires more than one viewing.
5/ Dr. Strangelove: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb: Who knew George C. Scott could do pratfall comedy? A stellar cast pulls out all the stops and delivers in the ultimate Kubrick black comedy.
Jack.

Mad mad World and Mouse Hunt are the two movies which left me with a sore abdomen from laughing so much. Mouse HUnt in particular should be required for cancer patients. Walkin’s ‘tracking’ the mouse in particular is insanely funny stuff.

While a dark comedy, Repo Man just cracks me up. It's not a classic, it is very dated and definitely cult, but I never get tired of the sharp banter
