MOOROOKA: Feral cats ``the size of dogs have been terrorising Moorooka residents for more than a year, with one resident and her dog mauled just last week.
Residents near Gainsborough St say they have been scratched, bitten, hissed at and intimidated several times by the cat pack.
They say they asked five times to have the cats removed, but were told by Brisbane City Council that they would have to set traps and remove the cats themselves.
But now the council is taking steps to have the cats rounded up.
A spokesperson said the cats had an owner who was surrendering some of them to council shelters for rehoming. Residents maintain however that some of the cats are wild.
LOL GG
Yup. And most houses had at least a couple preteen/teen boys that knew how to use them, too... And to such lads, feral *anything* is their natural prey... Or so it was for me...
Demon cat, yikes you bite it first...GG
i saw an Afghan once shaved to look like a horse...
clipped real short except the tail and top of the neck to look like a mane
. . . . Tastes a lot like Spotted Owl.

Cats don’t attack for nothing.
See, I told you that FERAL CATS are dangerous :)

That corgi looks just like one my sister has!
looks more like my sister...
LOL!
They don’t?
Um, you must be the Old Cat Lady. Felines are among the most cruel and vicious animals to walk this planet. Few other animals toy with their prey the way a cat will. Cats will always torture and maim anything that is smaller than they are. They may be cute and fuzzy standing at your ankles, but rest assured if they were big enough or you were small enough, that imagined loving relationship you have with them would be out the window, and you would simply be the next object of a moment’s amusement before you were torn into pieces.
Ever had a cat just walk up and attack you? Not even Miss Hissy Slashy or the partially feral Muffin ever initiated any hissing and slashing toward us humans. All the ferals I’ve seen have been shy, and none of them ever attacked me or anyone else that I’ve heard about.
In California, there was a large clowder of feral cats living near where Hubby and I were working. I joined a group of co-workers who got together and did a trap and neuter program to take care of the problem. No one ever got injured in an unprovoked attack.
Cats lash out when they’re feeling trapped or frightened. So what did that woman do to make the cats attack her?
Just askin’.
How kind of you to set me straight.
That looks like our kitteh... but fatter and with shorter legs.
